Booked my annual Mid-June Pinehurst trip today

Well I have just booked my annual Pinehurst trip today. We are going mid-June and will be playing Pine Needles, Mid-Pines, and Mid-South and staying @ the SpringHill Suites for $346. Checked around and no one else could come close to this price. We go Thurs.-Sat. and stay 2 night and play 4 rounds. This price doesn't include the 4th round but the manager at Bonefish Grill gives us free rounds at Talamore since we bring 20 people and eat there every year.

If you change your mind on Talamore, I would highly suggest a round at Tot Hill Farm. It is about 45 minutes north of you and is one of my favorite courses in the area. See more below...

Haven't played there yet, but have played Tobacco Road about 25 times. The Talamore round is going to be our 2nd round of the day so Tot Hill is a little too far plus Talamore is free. We only live about 2 hours away and my niece's boyfriend was a member @ Pinehurst now at Pine Needles. So I have played most of the courses there with him. This is our annual church trip with about 20 guys.

March of 2010 was my first trip to Pinehurst. Played Southern Pines, Tobacco Road, Talamore, Little River and Mid South. Liked them all, but Mid South is exceptional. Is firmly entrenched in my top 10 played.

I have played a lot of golf in Pinehurst but have only booked 3 trips there. Have been on a guys trip for the last 8 years to Myrtle Beach and have just about every course there. Started a trip for the guys @ church last year and have decided to make it an annual trip. I have played all the Pinehurst resort courses except #7 and 8. Have also played The National, Talamore, Little River, Tobacco Road, The Carolina, Seven Lakes, Hyland Hills, Woodlake(both courses), Foxfire(both courses), Longleaf, Whispering Pines, and Whispering Woods. If any has plans on booking a trip call Kelly at Tobacco Road travels and she will give you the best rate around. If you play Tobacco Road no one will come close to their package rate. Tried to book next years trip straight thru Pine Needles and Mid-Pines and they were about $50-$0 more per person than going with Tobacco Road travels for the same package.

You must play Tot Hill. If you like (and you must) Tobacco Road, Tot Hill Farm will be an amazing treat. It is also a Mike Stranz design and is called "Tobacco Road done right" by many. Just an amazing round of golf to be had on this very unique golf course. Affordable, well cared for, elevated tee boxes, and challenging. A must play.

Your playing great courses and you have a excellent price for that package.

Right now Talamore is in great shape, the greens are as good as it gets...... so getting that course for free is a heck of a bonus.

I live in NC and go to Pinehurst every October with a group of guys. Just played Talamore this past Oct and it was great. Great condition, great greens. Very good course. We also stay at Springhill and make at least one visit to Bonefish. You'll have a blast at those courses. Like the other guy said, Talamore is a great freebie.

I'm thinking of getting up a spring trip to Pinehurst next year. Who did you book the trip with if you don't mind me asking.
