No major changes lately. Lob wedge is getting a little worn but no desire to change things up. Playing reasonably well. I've picked up a few putters over the last week while. I particularly like the older scotties so will pick them up if they are salvageable.

And this arrived today. Quickly lengthened to 35" and threw a claw grip on. Makes its debut on Saturday.

How long are you planning on keeping that 906 in the bag? I'm looking to get a new shaft in mine to prolong its life as long as I can.

Yeah the alignment will be an interesting one. Particularly as I've traditionally used mallets with long alignment lines. I'll hang onto the 906 for awhile yet. Stock Titleist speeder in it. I don't think I've ever actually worn out a shaft. I've got no idea how you would tell unless it snapped?

Just looked all the way through this. I couldn't keep up!! Lovely clubs in there. Not sure how you can change so much and be confident on the course. Seems to work out ok for you. That button back del mar is really nice!! More pics of it would be cool

8 days after elbow surgery, no golf for 2-4 months depending how it goes. New putter to cheer me up, and another one arriving this week.

Had no Newport BBs. Then got both in a week. Weird how they come up from time to time.

Never did a wedge update. Borrow one of these lob wedges if you can. It's cheating. Open it up. Hit it hard, pops out so easily.

New putter. Will get tested Saturday morning. Never used one before.

Woods are finally here. Will hit the driver tomorrow but I've had the three wood for a fortnight. I've hit some unusually long shots with it. I'm usually the one who reckons modern clubs don't go any further than 5 year old stuff.
And another putter. Why not. Feels a lot softer than the Newport. No idea why. Dual balance as well.

In case anyone notices, I constantly miss my 50* and 56* right. Yet hit my stock PW very straight. So I had the lie's checked. Both were about 2* flat from the stock angle, so I've bent them both upright to match my PW. They go straighter now!
I'm not sure how they would flatten, perhaps they were like that from new.

I've had that a number of times. I get everything checked at least once a year and all new clubs. It's amazing how you can custom order a certain loft or lie and it comes in way wrong.

So I reluctantly ordered these. Sadly they arrived while being away with work (and a golf tournament), and despite offers to have them couriered to me, I'll wait until I'm back home before unwrapping them.
So I'll have to wait and see.

Bit of barn find. Saw an auction listing come through to my email, I have TEi3 as a keyword. So had a look at the auction. Hogan irons and Taylormade woods with a Scotty Cameron TEi3 putter.

Hmm. Buy now was only $200 and there was already interest in the putter which was under an original Scotty headcover. I um'd and ah'd for a few minutes and thought bugger it. Hope the putter is ok, as the irons were pretty rusty. And I can always flick the irons anyway (I've got a mate they'll be perfect for).

And fortunately there was a very straight Newport under the headcover. Some surface rust, so it's been rubbed in baby oil to halt the process. Another one for the collection.

New driver. Played in a hurricane but I drove really well. Shot shape was definitely lower. I put the shaft from my D2 in and had it set at C2 so it was the same setting.

New SM6 60* as well, got a couple of very thin lies in some bunkers, so it's hard to tell when you get the ol fat bounce knife through the back.

I had a piece of bone break off (no idea how other than it happened mid swing).

New putter, D4 has gone back in the cupboard, not user friendly enough for me. Back to the D2 which I hit quite well today.
