NEW HIGH END TOUR ISSUE ACCUFLEX SHAFT

Silver ION is 65 grams, 46", (High Launch/Mid-Low Spin), 3.2* torque (Stiff and X-Stiff only at this time)

RustCopper ION is 80 grams, 46" (Mid-High Launch/Low Spin), 2.9* torque (Stiff and X-Stiff only at this time)

 

They will come "packaged" in a individual tube and have a "hologram" that reads NanoMET Certified

 

Attached is the "beginnings" of the marketing "blurb" and some technical information.

 

The new Creation shaft by AccuFLEX features a unique long "butt"

parallel section that tapers quickly in the bottom portion of the shaft.

 

The Long "butt" taper stores the created energy longer, while the quick taper at the end acts as a "hinge" that enables optimal

unloading of the shaft at impact, creating a higher launch angle, with decreased back spin. This new shaft profile, combined with

our proprietary NANOMET technology, NanoMetal Polymer Composites, allows us to push the shaft design limits, with precise

weight distribution and variable bending properties throught the shafts profile, to accomplish a super stable shaft that has unmatched feel,

dispersion and distance producing characteristics.

Each Shaft is finished in Japan with a rich ION coating.

Looks sweet. Sounds like the Matrix Altus with the longer narrow butt section. I guess there's something to that design after all. I always wondered why they designed it that way.

Okay, now that I've posted the info that came to me, I'd have to say, watch out Mitsubishi Rayon, 80 grams is just my cup of tea for my driver. Ion plated etc. for a driver, 2.9 torque....I'm smelling a really really cool looking copper "diamana beater".

 

Too bad their is no player testing for amateurs on this shaft, I'd have to get a head and stick one of these in and test it out..... :drinks: . Just kidding of course, and once again, another great product from Jody and Accuflex.

Yeah if Joe can get one that would be cool for you. Be prepared to shell out about 6 Bills though. The Tour Rep is a buddy of mine, and I can't get one because there are so few.

Vijay Singh is testing them now...only two were released to be played on the nationwide and those players both increased distance and accuracy one hit 100% fairways one day, also 2 top

10's.

The paint they are using right now for the shaft is over $100 a gallon. That may have a little to do with the total cost. Either way just letting you know my source is legit.

Update guys, Boo Weekley is currently tied for 2nd at the Nationwide Event, he tested the shaft on Wed. and put it in play Thursday. The Creation 65 (silver)...

had a chance to hit both.. did'nt know at the time th ecopper was the heavier model until i was told.. both gave really solid control.. if you can point and swing -- ball goes there.. kinda of feeling.. speaking of feel -- it was a little different -- nice kick at impact and you can feel the shaft load during the swing.. but at impact feels like it kicks middle of the shaft-- must be the mico tapper issue.. the ball gets up and goes-- project x style-- flattens out and provides excellent roll. been playing the 65 gram model for 4wks now and really enjoy it.. i would put the shaft in the diamana,ozik,rombax,vs proto category -- yes they are all worth the high $$ tag.. have the copper 85grma also-- but have not decided what clubhead deserves it..

One question though, does Accuflex make a shaft to fit a .350 tip?? I would think they would but I was buzzing around on Ebay and didn't see one .350 Accuflex shaft being sold which is odd. YOu can always shim it to use 335 on 350 hosel.
