So many that I have enjoyed, but there is just something about kittansett that is priceless esp #3 where you hit over the beach and ocean.

Public- PineHills- Reese
Private- Only played 3 courses, Fall River CC, some place in Stoneham, and Wampatuck, Wampatuck was a good course, except it's only a 9 holer..Fall River is a decent course, but I don't think it compares to the PH courses.

Overall I'd say best/Favorite course I've ever played is PH Reese course.

I played Fall River CC for a hs match and was expecting more. Good course, but not what I came in thinking it was gunna be.

Public - Pinehills is great. I really enjoyed the Nicklaus side.

Private - I've been spoiled and played a lot. Picking one is impossible. Kittansett, Salem CC, TPC, and The Weston Golf Club are all great. I also really enjoyed Cummaquid on the Cape. Ledgemont CC in Seekonk is pretty sweet too.

It really is hard to beat the Pinehills facility and courses though.

It's not a "Bad" course, but when I think of private I think of better is all.
Older style course, which is cool, but the layout and conditions are just decent IMO, and I've been there twice...
It's better than the average Public course, but I think Atlantic is probably a better course.

I spend all my Saturdays just hittin balls on the grass range. They have 3 greens and awesome chipping green cant beat. If you ever get a \esson there, you get to go to the back of the range and omg!! Its ridicuous, Class A in my opinion.

Another good course is Eastward Ho, great front 9, back lacked a bit,. givin kittansett the edge in my opinion along with Old
Sandwich

Worcester, Pleasant Valley, Tedesco, Vesper, and a bunch of others are good but not overly memorable.

Best I've played is Boston Golf Club in Hingham. Golf at its purest and every hole is completely memorable. No carts allowed, every green practically blends into the next tee box.

Not Mass., but Wannamoisett just across in Rhode Island is all but tied with BGC in my book. Good call on Ledgemont, too. Spectacular, strong set of Par 4s.

Glad to see the love for Kittansett ... I am lucky enough to have a chance to play it in April. Psyched.

I'd like to play The Boston Club...since it's very close to me. I've played Ledgemont, I'll also be playing Kittansett in April, as well as The Bay Club in May (a very good course I'm told).

bay club is also very nice, always in great condition. Its what my team likes to call a stat course, its a good please to bring ur stats up. Open fairways, big greens and the greens are always pure. You will enjoy it.

Kittansett is for some people and not for some. Its a course you have to play with all the views and the feel. But you can see improvment compared to say a Boston Golf.

Boston GC is awesome, it is very similar to Olde Sandwich. Undulating(spelling) greens that are fast and beautiful. I gave the hand to OS just from the facilities. They are unreal. The courses are very similar though.

Public - Pinehills is great. Courses are great, as are the facilities.

Private - Boston Golf Club is the only one in Mass i've played and it is a really nice track. Wish I wasn't coming off a 2 month layoff when I played it. Seem to be a lot of nice private course on the cape, but I have yet to play any of them. Hopefully soon.

A lot of history too. For example, I'll be playing a private course called Segregansett in Taunton, which opened in 1893, and where Francis Ouimet was once a member. Massachusetts has some great old courses, great architects, now all we need is some great weather.

i wish we didnt have the tournament at TPC boston, i find it kinda overrated. The only thing it has is its length, which most course here lack the 7500 yrds or w,e needed

Some of my favorites are Crumpin Fox, Orchards, Ballymeade (used to work there) and my all time favorite is Pocasset Country Club. I learned the game their with my grandfather so it will always be at the top of my list. Hickory Ridge was my home course growing up, so I have to mention that course too.

Public: Pinehills during the summer (prefer the Jones course). Red Tail is a close second and possibly better as a Spring/Fall course.

Sure do play some nice ones, unfortunately I don't have access to those....a reason I was considering doing what Sean is doing, but alas it's not in the cards for me this year.
I will have to live vicariously through Sean and his updates every time he plays a nice new private course!!!

At my age J begging would be inappropriate. LOL My son just finished his high school golf career last fall and played some nice courses. Also, some of the kids at our practice facility (Harmon Golf) play a lot of nice courses as well.
