Got my Titleist 906

I got my 906 yesterday. What a good looking fairway wood. It sits so good behind the ball and has a great feel. Just played a few holes with it late yesterday so i don't know if it is any longer than my 980. All in all its a great club.

can you compare the amount of face area of the 906 vs 980? Im wanting the 906, but i for sure need a bit more hitting area....

The 906 is defiantely on my list of 3 woods to try. I also want to try it along side the Ping rapture 3 wood so I am going to have to wait a little while to do that. Oh, who am I kidding. I'll probably just get the Titleist & then get the Ping later if it feels better.

I got the UST V2 shaft. I was really suprised at how much head weight i felt. I really like the combo. The 980 i had before was the strong model which had a deeper face that the other 980s. The new 906 isn't as deep but i think it might have a touch more hitting area heel to toe. Face size is comparable to the 904. It sure does sit a lot more square than my 980.

anyone try it with the aldila nv 85 or the titleist 4375? im curious on the 4375 specs

I cant wait to get the 906. Best looking fairway I've seen in a long time.

I bought the 906 in 13 and 18*'s on Wed. I got them with the V2 shaft. I have been wanted the 906 since i first saw a picture of it in Jan. on this site. The glossy black finish is much different from the 904 or other fairways from titleist. I think it plays the best of any titliest fw as well as looks the best.
