First I've heard about the Anthem courses being available. I would like to get up there and check them out this summer. This weekend is a no-go for me, however.

Southern dunes is aerated.

Vista verde, lookout mountain and legend trail have good very early prices.

I played Saturday and they were as you would expect, bumpy and sandy. Not awful, but not great either. They should be a bit better this weekend.

Not this weekend, but next, thinking about driving up to sedona to cash in my round at oak creek if anyone is interested in joining me. Depending on the prices, wouldnt mind playing 7 canyons as well(like if its under $60)

Let me know......I would be up for it....7 Canyons is $50 at 3pm...but that should be no issue finishing 18...3.5hr round!

Me too!

I have a crew cab that would comfortably get us there and back if interested in carpooling. Morning at Oak Creek, lunch and then maybe catch the twiglight rate at 7 Canyons.

Just checked the dates for the Sedona open... July 12-14, oak creek should be in great shape two weeks out of the open.

Also, I spoke with one of the guys on here(the one who owns the Inn in Sedona) and he said oak creek and 7 canyons are in fantastic shape right now, and that weekends are the time to play to avoid all of the retirees

Can he hook me up with a hotel room.. maybe disguise the trip as a family vacation where i dissapear for a full day!

He said that all WRX'ers get 10% discount on room rates, and it's more of a B&B then hotel, so prices are a little steeper(140+) but it looks nice.

La Quinta in Oak Creek is not too bad($90), nor the Days Inn in Sedona. A few people from our wedding stayed at Days Inn and the Motel 6 up there and commented on how nice it was for the value.

Just checked with the wife... looks like i have been booked for vegas for that weekend... sorry guys im out. ( not sure there was room for me anyways ... but i'd like to this so ha!)
