Vegas for my 21st and I wanna play some golf! What are some good courses?

Just wondering what course I should hit up? Looking for one that wont break the bank but will give me that Vegas golf experience. All the courses look great so its hard to choose from. Thanks for the input!

Vegas is like my second home lol. I'll be there for 5 days so I'm not too worried about not getting to do much. Sleep wont be a priority while I'm there

I hear there is a good safari themed course that has plenty of holes to choose from, terrain features of many different shapes and sizes. The rough usually does not get to long and the course is very playable if you have the right game. However if you are not on your a game you will pay dearly.

At least nothing more than 150. I hear some courses in Vegas can go for a pretty high green fee.

If you have a car go to Wolf Creek in Mesquite. Its about a 1hr drive from Vegas but it is one of the most amazing golf courses you will ever play. Check out their website and pictures online to see what im talking about.

while i have never been to vegas, i dont think it would be too hard getting in a game of golf or two. Just make sure your not too hungover or it will not be fun at all. I have seem some courses online that offer a high class hooker to carry your clubs around, might wanna look into that!

If you decide to spend the money definitely make the trip out to la paiute. I have never played a course like that before. When I played the winds were howling with very strong gusts!! It was insane. La Paiute clubhouse is fantastic and I played there 6 months after turning 21. You will not be disappointing with any of the courses at paiute.

Nothing wrong with golfing in the morning and partying in the evening. Get the best of both worlds.

I've visited Vegas more than a half dozen times and get in 3 or more rounds each visit and here are my recommendations that are well maintained and won't break your pocketbook.

Arroyo @ Red Rock
Rio Secco
Siena

You'll need to rent a car since these are way off the strip.

Avoid any of the Walter's courses (Bali Hai, Royal Links, etc.), they are tourist traps charging 50% more than they are worth.
The Vegas experience in regard to golf will be found at the Wynn, Cascata, and Shadow Creek, and it will break your bank at $500/round.

Depending on where you stay and how much you are willing to gamble, the "Vegas experience" courses will be places like Shadow Creek or Cascata. Throw down enough money on the single deck pitch or baccarat games and they'll comp your golf.

If you want the best course that balances value and a quality golf experience play one of the three courses at the Paiute reservation. It is worth it to ceelbrate your 21st B'day. They often have discounted green fees on Golfnow.com

If you are looking to save a few bucks, my three favorite inexpensive courses in Vegas are Boulder Creek, Wild Horse and Aliante.

If you want to break the bank for your B'day, go to Shadow Creek ($500)

If you want a round that you'll never forget and are willing to drive a little further I'd strongly suggest that you play Wolf Creek in Mesquite (75 min drive) or the Chase (50 min drive).
