If you are lucky it will stay there. What happened with me was that I played about once every month when my first child was born. My handicap skyed...I just had another and it is on the rise again...Welcome to parenthood...

i was a 3.4 before i decided not to renew at my club, so i don't know exactly, but i'd say it is up now, probably 5-6 is a good estimate.

9.7 and heading down, golf season here is slowing down, should be able to get it back down soon........hopefully!

10.1, down from a 20 at the beginning of the season. The wife ain't all that happy, but I'm glad to be where I am. Hopefully next year I'll get it down closer to 5...got the winter to chip and putt when I can.

My handicap is a 5 right now, but probably on it's way up until next year. I'm only playing about once a week, so I'm not playing as well as I have a few weeks ago. Oh well, I'll practice putting a lot and hopefully I'll drop down a little more. I was a 7 at the start of the year, and I wanted to get all the way down to scratch. That didn't happen, but I still got down to a 5 so whatever, I've still got time.

 

I hit the ball well enough to be a scratch golfer- my short game lets me down though. And a little bit more distance couldn't hurt. If I can make more putts and hit the ball a bit further, I'm on my way down big time.

I'm a 15 and have been a steady 15 for about a year. I'm way longer than I was a year ago, have a much better short game, and a ton better putter. I strike the ball well every time. Yet I continue to suck.

 

I'm pretty sure the problem's between my ears.

I leave every round with the impression that I left a number of shots on the course by way of a few poorly executed ones.

i have been around 3 for a while. if i could ever learn to putt, i would easily be scratch. so far this year, i've averaged about 12/14 FW's, 14/18 GIR's, and 38 putts.
