TIGER WOODS Photos @ 2011 CHEVRON WORLD CHALLENGE

Awesome pics!

Few comments:
I like the shoes was a big fan of the Free Sneakers I wear them for casual rounds; CC I'm taking out the TW Nikes.

What would people want Foley to wear? He is working, so he dresses the part. What do you want him to wear- a suit, jeans, bball jersey? I think that's just Sean hating.

Love the new bag. The grey is very slick. Fuse Science is a very interesting new product. I am actually an investor and couldnt be anymore happy with the Tiger signing. Fuse as a company is bring a very revolutionary product to the nutrition world. The new technology is very very exciting, not only providing the most effective way to get energy and nutrients into your body. Having more than just an impact on athletes, but also an incredibly cost effective way to eliminate mal nourishment in impoverished areas.

Shoes are gross
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. One mans gross is another mans gorgeous. And what's with the lace and spike comments. Seriously ?? When a spike breaks you put another one in, and don't always have a match. Many times I have done.

Love the frees, may try these...as my Trues are done...4 pairs have come apart, and have not even sent the last pair back. Sad, cuz a cool shoe. Currently on Ecco Bioms....awesome!!

I'm sorry, but why does Sean Foley insist on dressing like a tour player?
How should an instructor dress? Suit and tie? Jeans and a t-shirt? Every instructor out there dresses like he's about to tee off.
More like, why do some spectators insist on wearing golf shoes while attending an event??? Its not like they're going to be paired up or something.

I agree, why wear golf shoes to an event?
BUT for places that are tricky to walk, ie Whistling Straits, the traction can help an old fart from breaking a hip.

Does anyone know how long Tiger is contracted with Nike? I know Nike cut his endorsement deal after Tiger's marital infidelities. It is curious to me that Nike featured Tiger in their 2011 equipment guide but did not list his club specs even though he was pictured. I am surprised that Tiger is still using the Nike Method putter. I realize he is having putting problems. I wonder if Tiger and Nike will continue their endorsement relationship. Had I been in Tiger's shoes, I would have understood why Nike took the route they did in cutting his endorsement deal but I certainly would not have liked it. I am wondering if Tiger will look to cut ties with Nike after his deal runs out or if Nike will look to cut ties with Tiger once the deal is done. I would imagine that Tiger's future playing performance will determine just how much he is worth for future deals. Does anyone have any specific knowledge on this topic?
Actually Tiger is one of the 3 sportsman in the world that have an lifetime apparel contract with nike(the other two are Jordan and Ronaldo) and he also have a 13 club deal with a bonus if he putts one nike putter of his prefference in the bag. I read this a few years ago in a magazine in my barber shop.

Lets see. I'm going to a golf tournament where I'll be walking on a variety of surfaces, mostly grass, some of which might be slippery. I'll be traversing varied terrain, uphill and down hill where traction will be needed. I might encounter wet conditions that further impact traction. I'll be out there on my feet for several hours so comfort is important.

What type of shoes should I wear for this outing? I know! Golf shoes!

Agree...I like the new bag! If the shoes are anything like the tennis shoes, very comfy but I wonder if they have support for twisting?

Extra traction if your walking the course following your favorite player.

Quick story: at the Masters a few years ago Foley was walking around the locker room with a camera and golf clothes on. He had his clubs with him too

How far has Tiger fallen that now he wears polyester pants and cheap looking sneakers in place of his natural fiber clothing and high-end Nike leather shoes! While he once presented as a classic and classy dresser, he now looks like every other badly dressed golfer on the planet. Wide white belts, hip-hugger pants, too-tight shirts in too-bright colors and stripes have returned golf attire to the seventies, not the best decade for style. There is a difference between style and fashion; style endures while fashion comes and goes. Style = Cary Grant / fashion = Bozo the Clown.

Those shoes are Awful. Period.
I'm with you
Yup plain uggggly. Seriously looks like 80 year old grandpa shoes (not that there is anything wrong with dat)
Yeh, nothing wrong for grandpa (or a 7-year old), but many years short of that, those shoes are disgraceful. There's a reason why basketball players aren't wearing Chuck Taylor's anymore, and why Nike has put so much $$ into R&D over the years to make such comfortable and good looking leather golf shoes.

2012...? I'm thinking he may be back already. Bar the double bogey on 15 or 16( the par 3) he would have shot 65. In those conditions, quite a score. But it is the way he is scoring. Nothing fancy or no freaky TW shots but just super solid golf. I have to admit that ive always been a fan and started to have my doubts but with three weeks of competitive golf in a month I'm pretty sure he'll have a few wins next year and i wouldnt be at all suprised to see him dominate at Augusta next year. Not saying it's a gimme but you can definitely see that stare and confidence coming back into his game.

What were "those conditions"? I was out there today and it was a prefect day! Not much wind (as far a wind speed, though it does swirl in and out of the canyons) most of the day, 65 degrees. Still shot a good score but conditions really didn't have anything to do with his bad shot on #15.

Why would you want to wear your golf shoes hiking?

The spikes may cause you to slip on rocky terrain. They will slide, not grip like the lugs on hiking shoes.

Also the rough terrain of a hike may cause you to turn an ankle. The extra height of a hiking boot would help here.

You also want something with more rigid support than a golf shoes has.

My advise would be to wear hiking boots on a hike. Save your golf shoes for the golf course, whether playing or spectating.

yes! Hiking boots for hiking. Slippers for loafing around the house. Tap shoes for tap dance. Running shoes for running. Golf shoes for golf or golf spectating. I make my wife wear golf shoes when she caddies for me. I dont want her to slip and hurt herself, then I would have to carry my own bag..and I cant have that.

Im thinking about driving down to the tournament this weekend. Im only two hours away. Is it worth it to watch it live? or just watch it on tv? Havent been to a live tournament in ten years or so.

+1 don't mind the frees but they are definitely reminiscent of these 90s sneakers. reminds me of the air huarache from nike in the 90s.

great pics! personally, i don't mind the shoes, they look comfortable. But it is sort of the 80's-90's tennis shoe look...
