I'm already getting added distance (15-20+ yds) with a titanium fairway wood head and a good deal of forgiveness. How can the RBZ technology benefit my game over what I'm playing now?

Guess I'll throw some questions that have been eating away at me.

With the RBZ line, Rocketballz, are we seeing a move toward attracting younger golfers with the new paint scheme (green and white) along with Dustin Johnson and Camilo Villegas? Since I have seen the videos and the risk involved with naming something so, blatantly ( i guess that is the right word), is TM trying to take more risks rather than just staying with the normal gameplan, whatever that may be. What would inspire such a large and successful company to even take this kind of risk?

My other question pertains to the actual technology of the slot in the wood. I have heard and seen a discussion, of course on the forum, about the slot not providing a whole lot of improvement in distance for lower swing speeds. Again not coming from a dynamic motion or physics background, the argument kind of made sense to me. Will this in fact help the average golfer, who has a sub 100 swing speed, or will the vast improvement on distance (i.e. springy effect from the slot) come with a higher swing speed?

Equipment and color looks great guys! I'd totally game these woods, and the price aint that bad either!

if the new Rocketballz fairway wood is so long is it going to be difficult for players specifically tour players to justify having a 3 wood that is almost as long as their driver? or do these 2 new product lines offer added distance for all players too?! or has their been a gap in the market for a longer hitting 3 wood to make better gapping throughout the bag?

With so many golf club manufacturers in the market, what makes Taylor Made different than all of them and why should I purchase your products? Thanks.

Okay, so I'm a 17 year old guy who plays of a fairly high handicap of 25, but really wants to get it done in the low teens. I'm buying a new driver next year and am tossing up between the r11s and the RBZ. My issue is that I have a habit of opening my hands up during my drive which results in a slight slice on the ball. I'm looking to use the FCT to try to correct this slice, but also would like to get the max distance from my driver. Would the rbz be better for me than the r11s?

With all this talk about forgiveness vs workability I sometimes wonder for the average golfer, is there really any need to have a driver that isn't as forgiving as engineeringwise possible.

How do the R11 and RBZ line fall into this concept, is one more targetted toward forgiveness than the other?

We've been hearing the buzz on how the RBZ 3 wood is very long, do you take this into the equasion when designing 3 wood and Driver that they must be consistent in distance gaps. Would we therefore be able to assume that also the RBZ driver gives a huge amount of additional distance over the previous Burner line. And therefore should one opt for a full set of RBZ woods and not mix them with R11S since than the distribution of distance will be inconsistant.

What kind of shape does the sweet zone of these new offerings have, we've been seing some research resulting in an eliptical sweet zone. Has TM also made this kind of research and found different or comparable results, and how did this influence the design of these new woods.

Will 2012 see a new line of wedges with interchangeable faces? And what about wedge fitting?

I must aploud both TM and GOLFWRX for this awesome event.

In terms of forgiveness in the fairway woods, how do these heads compare to some other 's that have a cup face technology?

In terms of the technology that allowed you to finally take fairways to this max COR limit. What do you think was the true game changer; Was it the new velocity channel, the head shape, weighting or materials used. Also, do the performance gains continue into the R11s faiways as well?

This question can be multiple parts, but here is the main one:

What is the process in determining or selecting a "stock shaft?"

I'm interested in how many different shafts are tested, how they are tested, and under what process until you finally say "Okay, X brand shaft and X weight at X length is now the stock shaft for all of our X fairway woods or the X driver or new RBZ irons." The process must take forever!

Thanks

Not as a knock (as you can see I have an entire TM bag), but I have to ask this. Why does Taylormade have to come out with a new line of clubs every year?? They can't possibly expect everyone to switch clubs every single year.

How does TM plan to fit people if the RBZ fairway wood actually ends up going as far as their TM driver as up to 30 yards could end up meaning that some golfers are hitting there 3 wood as far if not further than their driver...

Engineering wise; is the new slot, in RBZ fairways and hybrids, able to be used in a driver to also increase the distance?
