Need help

Can any of you give me some advise ...need a replacement graphite shaft for my Mizuno 200's...the current shaft has flex reading of anywhere from ladies to not quite regular...too low for my swing speed of 88/90. Yea, I know it's not fast, but I still need a shaft that I can count on to be accurate and that gives me some distance...I prefer graphite only because of wrist pain in the past. I would surely appreciate anyone s help on this...with my thanks.

With thumb arthritis, and a similar driver swing speed I was fitted for the Aerotech Steel Fibre 70's on my Miuras, (A flex) which sound like they fit your needs. They are not whippy like typical graphite shafts.

Not cheap, but the vibration-dampening of graphite, control of steel. And you can hit them hard if you choose, with good control and no vibration (though I'll need to give credit to the Miura heads for that also of course).

I have the Steelfibre 80's in my wedges, which you might also consider if you want something a bit more robust.

Perhaps there is a fitter in your area that will let you try some out?

I just gave mine the first real test over 10 days (9 rounds in 10 days) on a golf vacation and spectacular. And better as time went on during the successive rounds, again no vibration issues. I believe I was gaining some distance too.

Can't wait for the season to get going here locally officially at the end of this month.

I love my Aldilla vs-proto iron shafts. I even reshafted my back-up set with them recently.
My swing speed is faster and I like heavier shafts so I use the vs-proto 100's in stiff but they also offer an 80 gm version in A or R flex. They are also much more reasonably prices than the steel fiber's.

+1 on the VS Protos. I love my set of 85s in X flex.

My driver speed is high 80's low 90's, I used Mizuno Tour Spec 95 gram shafts in stiff. Regular also works, but I like a little stiffer shaft. They are taper tip. Reg set on ebay now. Mizuno no longer sells them.
