Sell as many of the normal ones, before the TA comes out sounds like the game plan.... cant really argue with that.

Very true. And I guess if cally is only releasing 6000 units they are not to worried about Marketing the TA line.

I am just kind of worried that I will not even be able to buy one since they will be so rare. My guess is that the lefty version will be even more rare. If most of the righty ones are spoken for already I basically have no chance of even buying one at all. What is my best route for locating one when I do have the cash? Directly from Cally? Grab it out of Phil's bag at Firestone and make a run for it? jk.

See the 1500 of so PT-82's.. they dont exactly command big bucks.. now the 82 limited might...but 6K units is alot.( if true)

I really do not see why they would not make as many as they could sell. I do not know how the manufacturing process works for these drivers versus the regular FIT but if they could sell 10,000 it makes no sense to only make 6000 from a business sense.

From a marketing standpoint you could make 20k or more, rumor limit first release to create frenzy then release balance of already made clubs as needed.

I orderd one, so I hope I'm wrong, but I bet these are cancelled. Amazon will probably give us a credit of some sort for our trouble, but seriously doubt they will sell us these drivers at that price. Don't the big manufacturers shut the discounting down? I always get these great 20-40% discounts at Golfsmith/Golf Galaxy/TGW except they exempt every club you would want from a big OEM. The other retailers would cry foul if Amazon is the only retailer allowed to discount.

They have to be getting them in or else they would have never released them in the first place. Surely they would have cancelled our order by now of they were not getting any stock.

While the green and black combination looks very good I have to wonder why TM and now Callaway are both putting green on more products after using primarily using red on EVERYTHING for a long while. Yes it is different and yes it is cool, but I can't help but wonder why the change with both companies....

Probably because the bright neon green with show up better on television. That's my guess anyways.
