As for the "legality" of non-conforrming grooves, there is no room for two sets of equipment Rules. The game has always had one set of equipment Rules for all levels of player, and that should remain true, as it is an integral part of the game.

Non-conforming means that they do not conform to the rules. The wedges Cleveland was selling conformed to the rules and still conform to the rules for the majority of players. The players that they do not conform for generally do not pay for their wedges.

I'm just the opposite.
If an oem introduces product at such a rate then discounts/rebates 8 week old inventory to big chains it is almost impossible for the small/green grass shop to compete. Especially given the fact the the stores getting discounts now have retail price points lower than the green grass costs.

I cannot support retail practices like that even if the clubs are the goods.
Plus, who really wants "white" club heads..........
