You also have me trolling eBay looking for a cheap driver head that I can put a steel shaft in.

 

Your apparently unlimited budget, and time to tweak and experiment and play with your experiments makes me green with envy, Wish I had a Cleveland Classic around that I could drop a steelie into at a whim. Wish I could afford a Cleveland Classic.

 

In summation, you are an evil Dr. Frankenstein who experiments with all sorts of clubs (including the weak spot of most golfers, the driver) making us all dissatisfied with what we have. You are like a dealer who belongs to a web board that supports crack addicts.

 

ROBOPTI, please just use what you have in your bag for 12 months, helping us "tweakers" also use what we have in our bag for 12 months (heck, this is GolfWRX - like any of us can keep from tweaking).

I too have been a victim of Rob's posts. Case in point is that I now use a Ping G10 12* with an 80 gram Accuflex Creation shaft at 44 inches. The thing is straight and I am sacrificing very little distance-wise. I'm glad I did not exercise restraint. Also glad I listened to Rob on the L4V (to which I now have 4) and the ZL driver. The ideas may be quirky but there is some voodoo magic in them beans!

Yeah... I think it's been deleted. Someone posted a link to it a couple days ago in one of my steel shafted driver threads and it didn't work. That's too bad. It was an awesome thread!

Why would one of the best threads on this entire site be deleted? That's like McDonalds taking the Big Mac off the menu-- they would lose some serious dough!
