Figured I would throw that out there & see what happens.. Maybe I can get banned for having a sense if humor. Actually to the crowd who thinks Hogan was a diver this might fit.

I thought you were old-school Balata to the core.

For me, a golfer is just not a golfer if they dont have:
- at impact..............right elbow glued to the body, hips open, left forearm peeking thru, bent right leg
- post impact...........hands disappeared but clubshaft still there

but you will have to excuse me cause I am a fan of the swing of the 60s and 70s.

When I analyze someones swing, the first thing I look at are these still shots:

Now I'm probably getting ready to offend all the Moe Norman fans, but I categorize Moe's swing with

Lexi Thompson
Ricky Fowler
Justin Rose

and anybody else that has the club flung out away from them post impact. I mean its a great move if your a lover of the fling. And I'm not hating, it's just not my style. And I know first hand what its like cause I used to be an extreme flinger! Now I have no idea what I am lol.

I still don't see the likeness when people compare Moe's swing to the Hogan/Snead type?? Is it just because of Moe's wins or accuracy or something??

Well, I think Moe gets thrown in with Hogan because of his impact position. Get Moe into impact and he has a bent right elbow much like most of the greats. Better yet, watch 'Young Moe' swing, you'll see a more dynamic move through the ball and a 'foot drag' that really resembles Hogan's. Moe may have 'stalled' his through-swing ala Fowler and Thompson, but I believe that was to allow for better accuracy. Fowler and Thompson 'stall' for more 'whip-like' power.

I wanna vote for Tiger's 2000 swing. The steepness of his swing really throws off a 'Hogan-look', but if you watch how he pivots into impact.
