Yellow Tour Wrap with Red Accents - Please Vote

Hey Guys,

Got this in today from Harry. Working on some different color schemes for next year. Curious to see what you think about this one. This one is a Leather Tour Wrap with Red Accents on the top on bottom. Expect to see more in the near future w/ different color Schemes. Basically checking peoples opinions.

I have the yellow Stitchback Limited--which is very nearly the perfect putter grip--but I'm not in love with this one. The yellow and red combo looks a bit clown shoes. How about a nice royal blue?

Something along those lines could probably be done. Are you talking a solid royal blue, or royal blue with different colored end caps.

I think a royal blue with black end caps. Does harry make a grip with Green Bay green and Green Bay yellow? if he doesn't can he?

Royal blue with black end caps would be great...classy alternative to the lime this and the pink that (Not that there's anything wrong with lime. Or pink.). By the way, has anyone ever released a pinstriped grip?

 

Their whole product line is really impressive, I need to pick up one of those GMMS Mid-Sized Pistols.

Dislike, just not a fan of those colors in general. I think some sort red white and blue scheme would sell pretty well.

I'm not a fan. I love nearly all the Gripmaster grips, but I don't know if I'm really liking all the bright colors. The yellow in particular just doesn't do it for me. I might like the yellow if it was more of an accent color...like if the grip was the natural black with yellow end caps and logo. For some reason, some of the bright colors kind of cheapens them for me. I guess I'm just a little more old school. I love the more natural color leathers. They just look so good when they get worn in.

Are you talking about this one Rich? That was a custom order not normal stock.

i am pretty conservative when it comes to what i will use but as far as putter grips all of the weird colors and bright colors look kind of cool, and bring some flash into it.

Personally when I use a Gripmaster...I like it because of the retro look as well as great feel. I only use the mahogany colors. If I wanted cool colors, I'd use one of my Iomics. :drinks:

Not bad... but I think it has to be on a certain type of putter to look good. On a Mills it would look nice. Throw it on something like an Odessey and it gets pretty messy IMO.

Totaly agree with pitbull on this, Gripmaster grips are perfect for classic style unfussy putters like an 8802 or say an Anser style, but a more modern putter that has a coloured paintfill then go for an iomic.

IMO the colours are a bit too much, leather is a natural product that i think looks best in more subdued colours. Having said that I love the grips with coloured stiching!

I really like the looks of these Chris, not as creepy as the snake skin one you pictured a few days ago. A Green/White combo would be my choice of colors...

I wasn't being critical of your camera, I just think that red on yellow always looks more orange, just due to the color properties. Yellow and Red makes me think of McDonald's!

 

I've been thinking about it, and I think nice, bright, bold colors with white would be nice. Royal blue and white, red and white, green and white, etc. might look good.

 

Anything wild or :drinks: for the Tour Laced grips in the future?!?!? (I mean other than the ones we've already seen) Textured instead of smooth, colored stitching, etc.
