Dry Courses Between Bandon and Portland (during rainy season)

I'm going to play a course somewhere between Portland and Bandon on my way down there this month. Can anyone recommend a course that plays well during the rainy season? Also courses to definitely avoid? Here's my current list:

 

Sandpines - I think this should be a fine one, so I've read and given the coastal location there should be plenty of sand as a base.

 

Emerald Valley - I read this sucks in the winter but is a challenging layout.

 

Diamond Woods - ?

 

Trysting Tree - ?

 

Ocean Dunes - ?

 

OGA Course - ?

 

I also don't want to stray too far from the route, not going any more than 20 min out of the way to get there.

Definitely Sandpines. For me, nothing else really compares unless you can get on at Eugene Country Club.

Just spend an extra day at Bandon, nothing compares. Except maybe Eugene CC if u get a chance.

I've been to Diamond Woods three times and have been disappointed all three times. The maintenance has been poor every time.

I played Sandpines for the first time a few months ago. I will definitely go back. Great course and should be okay during the winter months because there's definitely a sand base.

I have also played both Trysting Tree and the OGA course. I like them both, but I can't comment on how well either drains. I played them both in the dry months.

In the Portland area Stone Creek is the best winter course. The OGA is okay during the winter; all the personality of the course is pretty much on the front 9. Sand Pines is better taken care of and a good course and probably a better winter course than Ocean Dunes, but sick me, I like O.D. better, but both are good courses. If you like a very manicured look than Sand Pines will probably be more to your liking IMO.

A +1 for Stone Creek in the winter.

Sandpines, definitely. But it is subject to the same coastal weather as Bandon Dunes. Can be brutally awful or beautifully awesome. If it is the former, just keep on driving up to Portland and check out Stone Creek. I haven't played that one in the rain, but it gets good reports for its drainage (as noted above) and it is a nice course.
