Left Handed 1999 Del Mar 3 New in Plastic

Hey guys I just wanted to find out from the Scotty fans what a brand new 1999 Scotty Cameron Left handed Del Mar 3 would fetch if I put it up for sale. It is brand new with plastic on the grip and never has struck a ball. I have not seen one on the bay brand new with plastic in a few years. It has the original all grey headcover with only red crowns and not red script like the 2000 Del Mar's come with. My guess is $300 would be good low ball price. Just need some help here. I have had this one for a long time and it was stored away. I am thinking of getting rid of it 2 buy a few more things. Thanks for your help Scotty B

Thanks for the link. If it only gets that I will not buy Scotty's anymore. But I have been following these and I will get over $250. I will post the final sell price. I didnt keep this thing for 7 years and not putt with it to have it go for less than what I paid for it.

It'll get more than that. The value guide is always wrong. You have to look at the Resale value not the trade in value. Trade ins don't give you anything for your clubs. Look at the "Buy" part on that link at the Mid range...you'll get that and a little more probably.

Ebay maybe around $250-280 due to it being new and plastic on the grip. Del Mar never really held its value or collectors eyes like the Newports. But you never can tell on ebay.... someone might go crazy bidding an bid over $300 due to it never being touched and them havn't to have it.

True...the Del Mar never used to demand a high price, but I'm hoping with the release of the Holiday edition putter, it might make the originals go up like the Holiday Napa's did. :fool:
