Does you chopping down the manta and keeping the heavier grip use the same principal as the tank and daddy long legs? The whole counter balance?

If so are there any differences you have seen between it and the dll or tank?

yes same idea
the TANK actually uses a plug or counter weight in the butt of the putter and a 115gm grip
where as the DLL doesnt use a plug, just a heavier grip at 135+ gms

IMO the Manta MID has a better looking head shape than the DLL, less plasticky-ness or whatever
the TM true roll grooves are the best the industry, they feel so good
distance control was waay better w the Manta MID as well

and to boot, it was $99, plus i got a $50 GC to Golf Town, so for $50, same idea as the DLL, but suits my eye better and more than half the cost'

Awesome. I bought a shaft on ebay (dll shaft and grip) going to take off the head of the corza belly I have and throw it in there. Like the looks of that more. Thanks for the advice. Hope it works! And for 40$ it's worth the shot

G25 9.5 stock TFC (non tour) and i20 15 3w stock TFC are both in

I can say w certain tho the irons are 100% safe - too good
putter as well

HY im on the fence still, need a few rounds to decide if I like the 20* or go back to a 5w

Good choice buddy....G25 is such a beast. Maybe not the longest stick out there but the most consistent....and that's what matters

U need to be on your game w it and the RFX
I have a training commitment w CrossFit this summer, which doesnt allow me to play or practice as often as i want
My achillies are tee shots
If i can find the fwy, i can score w/out having to hit balls every day

Dont get me wrong the xho and rfx are awesome .... But i have a thing for PING woods

I also found that they were not the most forgiving woods. Long when nutted , but when off they can be punishing. They look and setup as good as anything, but they feel very "tingy" to me. Almost like the Exotics CB woods.

had my first round w the G25 and i20 today
first tee, cold, no warm up balls few stretches and absolutely nutted it right up the middle
1st hole is a shorter par 5 (495yds), on in two, 2 putt birdie - routine

this stock shaft is fricken incredible w this head
hard wind today and a few that were straight in, it launched up and forward, no ballooning at all
and hits the ground running hard
for once i was able to keep up w my playing partners and even out drive them on a few

had a couple misses that actually ended up ok, sidespin is drastically reduced even on misses and distance isn't affected too bad

so, its a winner BONE ARSE STOCK

i20 i played all last year, missed it bad so got it again - just a SOLID SOLID 3w
funny thing, is the D, 5w and HY arent awesome for me, just the 3w!! LOL!

so ... the Cally XHP HY is out too, need to replace it before the weekend
thinking Anser HY or 5w ... will test a few tomorrow I think

Interesting changes, doesn't seem like you gave the RFX and XHP much time, but the G25 sounds like a winner. I'm actually back to playing a RHT, and am contemplating a G25 for the same reason as you. I have heard too that the stock Tour S and X shafts are very good.

ya they didnt get too much time, but didnt need too
3 swings w the G25 and I knew right away it was a better club for me
was swinging like crap yesterday at the range, but that was all me not the clubs

had a case of the shanks last week and im having a hard time getting those images out of my head

swinging better now and had a good tournament over the weekend
shaft change in the x forged

putting DGS300's in them w some sweet custom ferules too
had them for like 2 years, was waiting for an opportunity to toss them on

oh and the counterbalanced 38" putter idea is freaking amazing
never been so confident on the greens
inside 8ft is automatic, so stable - LOVING the new putter
lag putts are way closer and 3 putts are few and far between - this is JUST what my game needed

seems that the uglier the better i putt w it!! LOL!
