Mine showed up from TourSpec yesterday and arrived in exactly the same packaging as 4rheel. Can't wait until the
3&4 iron show and Incan reshaft the set...they really are sweet looking.

So TS has 3 & 4 irons still? Bought stuff from them over the years and they have been great but I don't think they can beat Rakuten prices.

They don't actually. I think I got their last 5-p. I have a 3&4 iron coming from vipgolfus. Hoping it'll be all legit. Should be here in a few days, so I'll be sure to post once they come.

Hello All, I'm new to this forum but I decided to join because I'm interested in the legacy black irons and I'm concerned about forgeries when purchasing from overseas. I noticed in the picture above from 4rheel that the 8-iron does not appear to have an undercut in the cavity, but on other pictures I've seen the irons have a noticeable undercut in the lower portion of the cavity - not large but it's definitely there (See bottom two pictures from TourSpecGolf below). Is it possible that the 8-iron does not have the undercut but the other irons do? Again, I'm concerned there may be some knock-offs out there with the recent interest and limited supply.

 

Any info would be appreciated.

8-pw don't have deeper cavity, 7-3 iron do.

I believe the irons with black lettering has more of a satin chrome & the irons with white lettering has a darker Chris from TSG says the darker chrome is a newer between the two finishes.!

I had a choice between the two finishes, had them in hand so I could compare. The satin chrome looked better to me. The darker was a bit too dark, the original finish is plenty dark enough for me. Plus, the darker finish will wear faster

Any recommendations on shaft differences between DG S-200 and GS 95 S-200? Is it as simple as high flight (GS 95) vs. low flight (DG)? What about feel difference between the two?

Weight.

About 15grams.

IMO they feel and perform very similar. I actually prefer the GS better and I don't normally care for a 95g shaft.

Just purchased my new Stenson Legacy Blacks, 5 - pw, GS 95 S-200, on Amazon (through JAPAN EC-Orange) for $588.

Should be delivered just in time for the snow to melt here in Michigan.

I don't know..... you might have made a big mistake.

If you don't like a high quality JDM forging that looks fantastic... feels and performs flawlessly, amazingly forgiving and for less money than any usdm
iron out right now.... you might not be happy.

Just got my new Legacy Black's in the mail today and they look sweet! Exactly like pictures above with black lettering and satin finish. Absolutely what I was hoping for. I was shocked to get them so quickly (only one week from Japan!). I had to get standard length and lie so I'm planning to take them in for adjustments - will probably need +1/2 length and possibly up 2 lie.

I play a set of legacy black since a couple week now (3to pw).I reshaft them with modus 3 120TX. The combo head shaft give me perfect number and nice boring flight. And the feel? The feel is just amazing! I tried every club that comes out this years and no one can beat them! They are so soft and sound so good. If you have the chance to try it, take it !

I keep trying new sets of irons.... what a waste of time (and money) as nothing even comes close to knocking these out. Only
other set this year that will get a chance are the OnOff Forged but they won't be here for another month.

I have an extra set, used, cheap, if anyone's interested. Will be in the bst soon.
