Thanks for this Imp. Too bad only 19 of these 70 are open to the public, huh?

Wonder if they'll put out a list for us not so exclusive golfers. lol. I've played exactly 0 on these lists.

Only one on the list I've played is the Oaks @ The International. I think The Ranch and Red Tail are much better IMHO...

@foreman other publications put out best public you can play by state. I think golf weekly. I use that as my wish list. I've played 5 of the ct ourses on this list and newport national. Don't think I'll get on too many more.

Right on! I grew up in Turner and I used to love treating myself to a round at Fox Ridge. Great course!

Fox Ridge is excellent - it's only $30 after 2pm which is an absolute steal. Great course. Grip and rip par 5's with some challenging par 4's and par 3's. Value wise it has to be the best in the state.

[Golf and hockey]

quashnet valley and the par 3 paul harney in the cape have always been my favorites.
