I can't stomach Nutella... Stuff is nasty
Well, if you don't like chocolate or you don't like hazelnuts, then I could see how you might not like Nutella. I like them both and can eat it right out of the jar.

But here's what I don't like, sweet stuff on my savory stuff! Don't put pineapple on my pizza. Don't put cranberries on my turkey. No pineapple on my ham, you get the picture. And not a fan of sweet and sour sauce. I'll have my sweet stuff for desert.

Love chocolate, if I wanted to smear it on toast I would use frosting. Now, doesn't that sound gross?

Toast with butter and nestle quick powder.

Sweet potato fries. People go crazy over them down here in the South. I love conventional fries and baked whole sweet potatoes, but sweet potato fries do nothing for me. Strange really. I have seen them served with some kind of butter for dipping, which I found gross, and they are normally salted like regular fries. I think it's either (a) the salty-on-sweet combination not agreeing with my palate or (b) the texture that I love about whole sweet potatoes being completely disrupted by the fry form. Then again it's the South, where people also enjoy grits and collard greens. They do know how to barbecue down here though, I will give them that.
Sauce or dry rub? You have to declare which style. Then we can agree with you or pound you for picking the wrong kind of barbecue. :-)

Exactly!

Waldorf or carrot raisin salad-Yuck. And don't put fruit in my green salad. Fruit salad is good but don't mix them. And Mayo not Miracle Whip. (there have been family feuds over this kind of thing.

Haha the mayo comment reminds of the arguments I have had over Heintz ketchup v Hunts ketchup (if you vote Hunts your opinion is officially garbage and we shall take you around back and shoot you)

I'm going to sit that one out! I love them all and honestly don't have a mature enough barbecue palate to be picky enough to pick a favorite. I grew up in the north and mostly thought of barbecuing as grilling a few burgers and sipping some beer on a hot day. It was only when I moved to the South that I was exposed to slow cookers, the variety of sauces, brisket, and the like. It's an entirely different definition, and that is what I was referring to.

If you remove the bones from prime rib and cut it into steaks, you have ribeyes. T-bone steaks come from a different part of the animal.
/\^^^He's Right!^^^/\

You're pretty close but [s]true rib eye is[/s] the small side on a porterhouse or a T-bone is the filet mignon, and the large side is a New York Strip or another name is Kansas City Steak... Prime rib (prime is a grade) roast if cut into steak is commonly referred to as a [s]club[/s] ^^^WHAT HE SAID^^^ ribeye steak .

It doesn't matter to me whether guys like steaks, rib roast or lamb chops, their choice. I was "ribbing" Spring for his reference to not liking rib roasts, when in fact when cut, they're a steak... :)

I like center cut pork chops... :drinks:

p.s. And I may be a little off on the cut of a porterhouse being the rib eye (I'm wrong) , I think it's just the eye of the loin or filet mignon...But then again, what do I know, I'm not a butcher or a cattle rancher either... :D I have been known to throw lots of BS around...

Delmonico steak is a steak cut from the beef short loin and named for Delmonico's, a steak house in New York where it is said to originate.

Delmonico steak is a triangular steak with an L-shaped bone. The Delmonico steak somewhat resembles a T-bone steak, but it comes from the front part of the short loin, the part nearest the rib In contrast to the Delmonico steak, the T-bone steak comes from the center section of the short loin. You haven't had good beef jerky then. It shouldn't taste like spicy leather, which many do.

BBQ Ribs. They are ok but get waaaay too much hype. I'd rather have a steak or any other type of meat for that matter.
Don't soften your stance. Ribs are grotesque. I'll never have another one.

Somehow in Las Vegas for decades I agreed to eat them when my buddies and I went to sports bars while we sweated our bets.

I was a soft manipulated fool.
