[size=4]My favorite moment was in 2005. It is the only time I have been to the Masters. Rain delay on Thursday caused a late start. I wore a pedometer and walked 12 miles each day trying to take this once in a lifetime event in. Did not want to miss anything. After the first round, I walked up to the 18th Green. Could not see anything as the fans were about 6 people deep. I walked around to the scorers booth and stood their just taking it all in. All the sudden, Bones stuck his head out of the scorer's booth. Then, Phil Mickelson walked out. A gentleman beside me, yelled Phil, Phil! [i][u]Phil looked over and recognized the guy[/u].[/i] He came over and shook his had and said "Billy, how are you? I've only got 20 minutes before I start the next round, but good to see you". Phil looked beside Billy and told his son that he did not recognize him because he had grown so. He shook his hand and the son just about grew 3 feet while shaking Phil's Hand. Phil thinking that I was with Billy and son, reached out his had to shake mine. I was so shocked that I [u][i][b]FROZE ![/b][/i][/u] A deer in headlights. My favorite golfer trying to shake my hand and I just stood there without doing anything. He smiled and walked away. I could have killed myself. Once in a lifetime chance and just choked. Funny story though. [/size]

Jack in '86. I was 7 and watching with my grandfather, who taught me the game. He's no longer with us, but man I nearly choke up every time I hear that gentle Masters music on the TV. Every year, without fail. Great memories of being a kid and learning about golf. Thanks for the opportunity!
