I really want to. However, by the time they are released and I receive them, I will have already played in the State Mid-Am and two KC Cup matches. I still don't understand this release date. I don't want to be testing and changing out wedges 1/3 of the way through the season.

is the 58 on the fourteen wedges a little bit too low of a bounce per Dan/Stan Utley method?

Dan likes 10+ range. I guess Q could just open the 58 a bit when he plays a pitch in that method.

If I was to go with the 58* Fourteen, I would definitely bend it to at least 59* and that would give me at least 9* bounce. I think that would be suitable.

I got in touch with Ari and Scratch golf, I'm considering picking up two hand made Tour Customs.

Weighing my options right now between designing Scratch Tour Customs, pulling the trigger on the Fourteens, or waiting 5+ weeks on the TP.

You don't seem completely sold on the fourteens. They seem like a good deal but it seems to me you're trying to sell yourself on them. Just my observation.

I would maybe check out the scratch tour customs and get what you really want.

Making some changes to the swing and setup. Ball position was really creeping back with the driver. After moving it up closer to where it should be, I'm struggling with the low (over)draw.

what's the starting line? Pull or online?

Hard to tell, but I'd guess a slight pull.

I'll get a better bearing today. Last night, the wind was pumping 25 mph down and right to left. Not ideal for testing.

The wind has been crazy. Today and tomorrow are supposed to be calm. Of course, when it warms up on Sunday, it is supposed to be blowing +22 mph.

I used to be terrible, hook city. Now that I'm getting on a little better plane, I feel more comfortable flighting shots into the wind and hitting partial iron/wedge shots.

Q that range is really tough to figure ball flight out on when it is this windy. The members range is a little better, but still tough IME.

It went well. I really wanted to focus on the driver. S2T/NV v. SLDR/Chrome. They are both great, I could game either of them. I'm still fighting the occasional low hook, but that is swing related and happens regardless of driver.

 

DRIVER BATTLE:

 

S2T/NV: Lower launching and appears to be lower spinning to the eye. It is a low, flat bullet. At first, I didn't know what to think of the trajectory. However, I have grown to love it, especially after hitting some piercing bullets into the wind. I absolutely love the feel of the NV. For a low/low profile, it is not harsh or boardy. If it wasn't for recieving the SLDR in the mail, the S2T/NV would be in the bag tomorrow.

 

SLDR/Chrome: After Lofting Up, I can notice a little higher initial launch. However, the apex is only a touch higher. There is no ballooning. It seems to be mid spin to my eye. The Chrome is a fantastic feeling shaft. You don't have to work too hard to load it, but it remains stable. I want to get on Trackman, but if I had to guess, my ball speed is higher with this combination.

 

SWING:

 

I am working on getting my arm swing more in sync, I have a tendency to let them lag behind my pivot.

 

 

At P6, I need to have my hands more forward.

 

 

When I get lagging behind, I have to stall and save it which usually leads to left of left.
