I see you'll be in St. Joe, MO for the USGA fourball - I think I owe you a beer so if you are hanging around afterward (i'm 9:48 tee time on 1), the first one is on me!

Deal! I will be driving down from Omaha, but I will make time after the round to have a beer!

 

I'm heading down to Topeka on Sunday for the Kansas Mid-Amateur. It might be my last KGA Championship I'm allowed to play considering the move.

I really wanted to play in that one...but schedule just wouldn't allow it. Weather looks PERFECT for it, play well!

Thanks for the offer! Carts are included at the Mid-Am, and we're in foursomes, so I caddie would probably do more harm than good :p

 

I might take you up on it at St. Joe since it is a walking-only USGA event. I plan on just riding my partner, he can really play.

You don't want to do that! Right now, I'm hibernating due to awful Omaha winter weather. I'm ready to get back on the course ASAP!

Our winter has been pretty mild here, but I still haven't been able to get out much with work and family stuff. I did take my two annual beach trips to Myrtle Beach. One with some dudes from college and another with all our church guys. I feel like I hit the ball a lot better than I scored. I don't feel like I made a putt all weekend on the church trip. That got old really fast.

I’m heading down to Fort Worth next weekend. I’m working with @Fort Worth Pro for a few hours, getting a wedge fitting with Artisan, and practicing the rest of the time in hopefully warmer weather. Can’t wait!

Sullivan Dean was born on August 7. It has been a lot of fun! He's growing like a weed. 

 

I played in the Nebraska Amateur Championship the last week of July, finished T13, and all but retired for the rest of the season. I'm slowly getting back into it and look forward to competing again next season.

I've been gone from WRX (and basically from golf) for about 2+ years, just thought I'd stop into one of my favorite threads for old times sake.
