Ugh, So sorry for the lack of everything. Not even sure I've made a post here in the past two years. My hosting for my old picture store house has expired, I will have to take some new pictures, Luckily I'm stubborn and my bag has not changed at all since the last update.

Incredibly short version of a new update;

I'm 32 now. (it actually hurt to type that, I feel so old...body is feeling even older)

My life kind of went crazy since I stopped posting last, starting in late 2015 and early 2016 I really began focusing on my game and entirely ignoring almost everything else, practicing 5 days a week for 7 hours a day for almost three months straight took its toll on my body and late one night on the back nine a Pilgrims Oak in PA my left knee gave up the ghost hitting a wedge into the 11th green, I collapsed to the ground and limped back to my car, unable to finish the round. Mild torn Meniscus is what I have been told...really I'm not surprised in the least with the abuse I put my body through, but it still sucks. As of today in 2017 my knee grinds and clicks a lot in normal walking and will lock in one position every now and then but with proper treatment my knee does not bother me with an 80-90% golf swing, the long and short of my left knee is that I will probably need reconstructive surgery OR at very worse an entire knee replacement before I am 45 if I want to maintain mobility. Sweet. Took about 8 months off after all of this, got a little depressed but pulled through.

Making things even more interesting, after all of the knee issues my wife and I decided to jump on an opportunity to move from the east coast in Maryland to the west coast in Washington, May of last year I picked up everything I owned and moved 2600 miles across the entire US, and I have loved every minute of my life on the west coast. Can I still golf? Yeah, I can still golf(Can I talk about cannabis here? it's 2017 and I do live in WA after all...) I do not feel any real knee pain while golfing thanks to cannabis, but I'm not walking 7200yd courses five days a week any more, that's for damn sure.

That's the quick and dirty of the last two years or so. (Super short version) Living on west coast now, bad knee, older, still golf, took about 8 months off.

Sorry to hear about your knee injury. I am glad it is starting to feel better and you are able to start playing again. The west coast is great isn't it? I look forward to seeing your re-posted pictures of your gear. I hope you can keep progressing with your recovery, I also have had knee issues over the years they are not fun. Cannabis is fair game on the west and it is 2017 so talk away. What ever gives you relief right. Have a good day and feel better.

Bag:

- Ogio 2013 Vapor.

-----------------

Driver: SLDR 460 10.5°, R1 Sleeve set -2°, actual loft 8.5° with ~3° open face angle (Shaft: DG X100, Tipped 3". Play length 44.5")

4 Wood: Tour Edge Exotics XCG6 16.5° (Shaft: DG X100, Tipped 4". Play length 42.25")

Irons: 2-PW 1994 RAM FX Tour Grind / 18° 2 iron to 49° PW (Shafts: S400 straight in, 3/8" steps)

SW: - Callaway JAWS CC X series 56°(Bent to 55°) / Custom ground (Shaft: S400 straight in)

LW: - Callaway JAWS CC X series 60° / Custom ground (Shaft: S300 & 3/8" tip trim)

All 13 clubs are gripped with Pure DTX.

-----------------

Putter: Highly modified Ping Cushin, Face Balanced and 40g+ of lead tape. 71° lie, 5.5° loft.

Grip: Two back-to-back Salty Grips, totaling 21" of beautiful cork :) (Hands down best thing in my bag.)

Shaft: "Stock" Big Z single bend shaft, added length to 43.75" for arm lock use

-----------------

Ball: - Wilson Staff FG Tour(2013 model)

Bag as I carry it:

Covers off:

witb2.jpg

Really like the DTX, the texture seems to open up more when stretched over my buildup tape, it's a good thing!

witb3.jpg

Driver and 4 wood, the XCG6 has been awesome thus far.

witb6.jpg

Irons, really a nice 90's V-groove forging, lots of mass behind the ball. Nice and soft, very easy to bend loft/lie.

- Lots of lead, tuning swingweights from D7-E0 through the set.

witb5.jpg

2 iron surprised me, usually I need a lot of lead on the 2 to bring it up to D7 but this one came out right on the money with none. Has to be a sign... :)

witb4.jpg

Wedge grinds, nothing even close to the labeled bounce on the hosel, Oh well. They work fantastic for the conditions around here.

witb10.jpg

Lots of lead on the putter, at 610g total weight it's by far the heaviest club in my bag.

witb9.jpg

witb7.jpg

One of the best things in my bag, the custom Armlock Salty

witb8.jpg

Thanks for looking!

I'm sure I forgot something. Oh well, that's why there's an edit button.

Are you still running a x100 in the driver? I tried one in my cobra f6+. I tipped it 3 inchs and played to 44 inchs long. It wasn't noticeably straight. Are they meant for adaptors or should they be only used in glued in hosel type drivers? It felt a little flexy for my swing. I think I'm straighter with an aldila ripd nv 85 in the f6. Will putting an x100 in a vr pro nike driver which has a longer hosel section make a difference with making the shaft play stiffer?

I know it's been a while since I posted anything here but yes, I do still play the SLDR with the X100 and I haven't yet found a suitable replacement, it still feels like complete crap on impact but the ball still just goes and tends to quite accurate for me, so I'm not planning on changing it any time soon. Head weight can have a huge impact on the X100 and the way it feels so I would check to see if the head of your driver weighs over 205g alone, that could be contributing to the flexy feel, mine feels a bit on the flexible side but honestly what I am really after is the low torque the X100 offers, which is lower than almost any graphite shaft currently available, I tend to get quite handsy late in the swing and the low torque helps me keep that pretty consistent.

In other news, It's spring 2018, I'm planning on heading out to the local WA courses here in a week or so, my knee has been feeling pretty decent and I'm itching to get back on the course. Been out of updates for a long time, I've also probably added 4-5 strokes to my HDCP from not playing for the last ~1.5yrs(hey, life takes over some times...) so I'm super eager to get back out and see what I can still do.

Edit: I'll get some new pictures up as soon as I can.
