Baltimore Golf Instruction

Hello all,

 

I am a new user on golfwrx and I am loving the site, I was hoping some people could help me out with some recommendations for Baltimore area golf instruction. I am a 24 year old high handicapper, consistently shooting just north of 100 (103-107), and I have been playing a lot this summer. I want to start on the process of trying to getting down to playing Bogey golf, and figured its time to start looking for some lessons to help me on the right way.

 

I definitely would like to stay in the Baltimore area, just don't have the time to get down to around DC and would prefer for convenience to stay around Baltimore. I am open for all suggestions, but definitely looking for value. However, that is another question I have as well. Obviously there are some better teachers in the area, that also cost more, but is it better pay more for the better instructors considering someone like me that shoots pretty high and mainly just need to develop a consistent golf swing? Also I see a lot of coaches advertise the V1 swing analysis program, should I definitely seek a coach that uses this system that is certainly well marketed as the "#1 swing analysis program.

 

 

Any help and recommendations would be awesome!

here you go man...I believe you ask the same question and people gave you some answers, but visit this guy....he has all of the bells and whistles... Just remember it cost to be the boss....so you get what you pay for...

Thanks for your help, I actually posted in two different areas, but didn't get much of a response so I figured I would try one more time before deciding. He is one of the more expensive ones i was considering. I have a few that I looked at, and was hoping I would end up getting some of the same recommendations as those I have looked at online.

I meant no disrespect, I just thought you would have gotten more help then you did. It seems people around this area are expensive, but you can see if they have a package deal or use the assitant pro or what not. I wish you luck .

No disrespect taken, thanks for the recommendation. Just definitely nervous about picking an instructor, instruction around here is a big investment in a game that isn't cheap in the first place. I really have the drive to start shooting lower and playing better though, so I definitely want to feel I am getting the most for my money. I like Owen's site a lot and I am very intrigued so I am definitely going to talk to some people who I know that belong to Country Club of Md.
