This morning I got in trouble with Mrs. Pelz. After reading her horoscope she said her moon was rising in Aries. I told her I wasn't sure about that but I knew her head was in Uranus.

Okay, so I was at the store that sold me the bag without the cover and thought, just for a lark, I'd look in the the pockets of the bags just like the one I bought... the one without the cover.

 

Aha! They did have covers in the pocket, except for the one I bought.

 

I spoke to the kindly old lady who looked like my Aunt Edna did 30 years ago, and she said that Titleist notified them that they will be discontinuing the free cover soon.

 

So, she said to please take the cover with me. I have a cover now for my last Titleist bag... :)

Car question - any of you own a GM SUV built on the lambda platform (Acadia, Traverse, Enclave)?

 

Always been a Ford guy, but when looking to downsize from our Expedition, I find the Flex and the Explorer both a little too small. An Acadia seems to be bigger like the Expedition, but much more fuel efficient.

 

Anyone here have one, and how ya like it if you do?

For a small school that recently stepped up their athletic programs they are doing quite well. Already have a gridiron guy, or two, in the NFL.

I feel your pain ... needed to shoot level par back nine to win my club medal comp today after an indifferent front nine ... and had eight pars and a birdie .. except that the birdie was with my 5th ball on the 16th after 4 hooks into thick rough (none of the 4 balls found). Ever the grinder, I holed a 30 footer for my 11 ... and then parred 17 and 18 with what was my only remaining ball :)

Hey, no style points in golf, I always say. Buddies kept wondering how I kept hitting the ball so low last Friday, as I bumped and ran my way to an 8 stroke lead on the front 9.

Yes. Deeply... just... wrong. I go to a lot of children's parties (to clarify, because I have young children) so am lucky enough to have to sit through plenty of children's entertainers.

 

Most are pretty good, but it is obvious that some are classically trained theatre actors or whatever, and some of their soul is dying, some of their passion and essence is being breathed into each balloon-animal. Have a feeling that they must meet up in the same pub every week to discuss suicide.
