As far as the lawn goes...it is tough work lol...Bermuda grass is very demanding. I worked hard to get it to look like that but it payed off.

Yes some great looking pics. As previous stated award winning lawn [size=4] . Interested about your driver set up. Per loft and open face. Did you have that in mind or came about it eventually? Guessing you are looking for a lot of carry and little roll? Good luck with qualifying. [/size]

I like the red grips and ferrules on the irons but those headcovers on your woods make me wanna vomit. They don't match anything. It's your bag tho. Good luck in the qualifier.

Thx for the kind words..as far as the driver setup goes. I tested several heads on trackman and flightscope outdoors and this combo gave me stunning numbers. I actually still get a fair amount of roll, my AoA is steep...not crazy steep but right along the lines of Dustin Johnson. I will get about 10-15yds of roll. Sometimes more....but mostly carry. 291 is my carry average on trackman.

Thanks, and as far as the headcovers go....they were given to me a couple weeks ago..notice I said GIVEN not bought lol. They will not be in the bag for long, I actually have some rockettour covers coming in and I'll update my WITB. They are actually the mizuno blue and white.

Thanks! Now this is just me talking...but I will tell you that this is the best setup I have ever hit. It is long and straight. And if need be I can work the ball which ever way I want.

When I compared this to the SLDR on trackman...I was only getting about 200 rpm more spin than the SLDR. And I tried every shaft under the sun in every combo you can think of...and the R1 TD3 just came out on too and flat out performed for me. I really wanted to like the SLDR but the R1 TD3 just felt worlds better and was def longer by about 12yds. The best driver I have ever hit would be the Fast 12 LS GLUED hosel, but this is a very strong 2nd in the feel department but our performs everything I hit so it's def in the bag for quite awhile.

Love the wedges. How do you like those C-tapers in them? Thinking about throwing some C-tapers in my SM5s. Are the faces of the Miura wedges milled?[color="#282828"] [/color]

I saw the SM5's up close for the first time the other day and man they are pretty sweet.

As far as the C-Tapers go...I had a set of Miura TB's with CTaper S+ in them so that's why I went with them in the wedges...and when I took the 8 iron combo and tipped them, XStiff...man they are nice. Nice and smooth and I can hit them PLENTY high and drop them in anywhere or just go in low and spin it. They felt smoother than the PX 6.0, and 6.5 in the wedges. I'll probably never get rid of these wedges. Everything about them is just fantastic, from the look to the feel and I believe the shaft combo I have with them makes them all that much better. I don't think they are milled, just the grooves are milled.

I didn't know how the CTapers would feel and react in wedges but they exceeded my expectations for sure. Very nice with the "Tiger stepping" method. I also just previously installed pro-soft inserts and they make them that much better feel wise.

Another guy using H4 long irons. I love mine, just fantastic irons.

A great looking and spec'd set but for God's sake, clean your fingernails. Sorry to say that but the first thumb nail just leaped off the page.

Yup you sure did! Lol...that was a great driver man....paired it with a Kiyoshi Purple and it was deadly. The R1 finally unseated it.

It's a great driver man. I had a TD2 for a few weeks and did not "love it"..but then I hit this TD3 and for some reason it just blew me away from head to toe. Love it.

Bermuda is a very demanding grass but it's def nice for golf..about 95% of courses where I'm at use bermuda so big advantage for me for practice area at home.

Well....good luck with that. Maintaining a green in your yard is not easy.

I gotta say this - and I don't mean to offend - but lead taping the Miura Wedges is pretty suspect. If you'll jump to the JDM forum you'll see that Miura wedges are perfection and shouldn't need any modification.

But, Nice grass in your yard.

Oh trust me I know....it was hard to do to those beauties but for some reason they came in at D3 and not D5....it hurts me everyday looking at them....truth be told...I'll prob end up taking them apart again after the qualifier and adding some weight so I can take off the ugly tape.

Not offended here..I agree 100% but I need it on there right now. Miuras are the most balanced club I've ever played but I like my wedges at D5 and they didn't come in at D5 so had to add a little extra weight...I messed up with the tip weights. Should have added more.
