Redwood Anser from down under

I've been looking for a Redwood and finally found one, in AU. I was a bit concerned how a putter box may be treated in transit but as you can see the seller went above and beyond packing it. The box ended up looking like it was dropped from a cargo plan with no chute, but no worries. I'm really pleased with the condition. I had planned to have it refinished but it's close to perfect and could be gamed as is. The grip is aged but I planned ahead and bought a Salty Grip. They both arrived on today. The headcover is one I haven't seen before. It's white fabric. I have it in the washer now to see if I can clean it up a bit. I can't wait to give it a try.

Redwood is an absolutely phenomenal putter. Was always sort of a unicorn for me but could never replicate the first one I bought and sold. That headcover is sweet too, much better than the original, never seen it either.

The owner told me he never used it for much more than practicing in his halls. He said he never found a groove with it on grass. I'm hoping to turn that around.

I'm looking forward to rolling a few putts with it. I played a quick 9 this morning but left it at home because I would like to adjust the lie and shorten it before I take it out. I tried a few balls in the family room and it feels pretty good. There's a chance I send it to BOS for a misted finish as well.

That would explain a lot. There is a stain on the fabric which could be adhesive. I washed it and it cleaned up ok. If nothing else it is unique as is.

Yes the pipe was in a box and putter was very safe.

I forgot I started this thread and posted the finished pic in another thread. That's not right. Well here ya go. Matte finish with colors from the AZ flag. Salty Grip with engraving. I love it!

Awesome putter. I recently pulled mine out of the closet, threw a new Pingman grip on it and have been carpet putting while my broken arm heals. Brings me back to when I had this in the bag throughout high school.
