Are Pure Grips Putter Grips Durable?

My Pure Grip midsize paddle putter grip arrived today. I've been putting with it for the last half hour and it feels great. I love the shape and how tacky it feels. What I'm wondering is, is it durable over time and does it maintain its tackiness or does it quickly wear like Winn and Superstroke grips?

My experience is that it does. And if you want to ensure that, when you clean your clubs just clean the grip along with it and you'll preserve that tackiness and feel.

Thanks for the response. I don't mean to ask a stupid question but when I'm washing the grip, would it better to use a cloth with cold water or luke warm water to preserve the tackiness?

I have used one all summer and its my first season with a Pure putter grip. I did notice that the tack seems to collect dust more noticeably. However, a quick wipe with a wet towel every few holes and you'll never notice it. Dries quick and right back to feeling like when you first put it on. As far as durability, I havent noticed any wear at all. The superstrokes I used the past couple seasons all had noticeable wear before seasons end. Pure Midsize is my new favorite.

I've never washed any grips. I use PURE Pros on 13 clubs and they are fantastic. I get more than a season out of a set. The handful of standard size putter grips I have used have never gotten slick to the point that they needed replacing.

I clean mine post round with baby wipes. Awesome.

I've had them on two putters and they seem fine. Even the white one looks good.

Either way, they're cheap enough I have no issues replacing them yearly if I have to.

Picked up a used Rife this summer with a white pure (mis-size) and agree that a quick wipe every other hole has it looking cleaner than any super stroke I have had. And still feels great. Even got me to replace my other grips with the mid sized DTX. All and all stoked with the Pure grips.
