Not sure how many of y’all are watching their stuff on YouTube but they are doing good on-course vlogs at some classy courses in California. Seems that they found a good niche and they definitely have a lot of entertaining golf content to compete with the Brits (Chris Ryan, Shiels, Finch, Crossfield, Me and My Golf, etc.). I find myself looking more forward to their stuff than the others at this point, mostly because of their banter and the videography.

As a Texan, some of the courses they play are just incredible to see. Especially Spyglass - because of this channel that’s now much higher on my bucket list.

I agree with all statements above. The courses they play, and the golfers I find to be enjoyable, and the fact that they're using the 4k quality is amazing when streaming on the big screen. Sometimes I wish they had more control over the focus when shooting the two-person commentary shots, but I'm sure that will come with more experience.

One thing that I thought would be hokey, but has actually been impressive is the guests who come on the channel. I feel that "Coach's" (Mike's) students are really insightful, and like how most individuals will talk about their pre-shot thought process, and even get into course management. Whether it's kids that he coaches on his High School team, or undergrads from surrounding areas, they all seem to know what they're talking about. And, both Marko and Mike seem to be pretty knowledgeable, too.

I feel like the baking tracks are also nice, as the music is pretty good (being a saxophonist myself), and not too distracting, either. And, the bets are fun, too. I'd never heard of "Dots" before they mentioned it in their videos.

I wouldn't say that I've stopped watching Peter Finch/Rick Shiels, I definitely enjoy their course Vlogs, but Matt Fryer bugs me with his manic/depressive demeanor, and occasional outbursts and temper-tantrums.

Sure are! Always good to read people's honest reviews about the channel. Thanks to everyone for checking out the channel if you're new!

Awesome you guys are on here! I'm in Delaware and love the channel! Stayed at Fairmont Grand Del Mar last year on business but didn't get to play. San Diego was amazing. You guys ever make it over to the far East coast? If you do Check out my local track Baywood and or Penninsula. Delaware is tiny but a cool place to check out!

Just subscribed. Your channel is AMAZING. You guys are always so happy. It's a pleasure to watch. We need more ambassadors to the sport like the two of you. Featuring some young potential LPGA players is a great way to get young ladies in the sport, as well. Kudos for doing that. And they beat you which is pretty darn cool, LOL.

Seriously awesome channel. Keep them coming!

I tried and I can't watch them, their swings make Brendon Devore and Christo Garcia look like pros.

What would be cool is if they took lessons and we could see their swings transform to something that is pleasing.

Don't think they're trying to be PGA Tour pros and I believe one of them is a Teaching Pro. Instead of tearing them down, perhaps realize they are a bunch of nice guys, having fun on a Golf course and showing the world that Golf is fun.

Are you really analyzing their swing so much that you find it hard to watch? I mean really?

I like Mike and Marko precisely because they aren't pros, into all the swing thoughts, equipment reviews and such things. There are plenty of that stuff already. The videos are great!

They're just a couple of guys who love golf and are pretty good at it. The guests are pretty good too and most often, not bad on my old eyes! image/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

. I'm dam jealous that they get to play such awesome courses! What a life eh?

I would love to go to SD and play in their tournament in July, but probably not gonna happen.

Just started watching the youtube channel this past weekend. Basically went on a binge. Great stuff and for a weekend golfer myself, it's good to get various pre shot perspectives from all the players in the videos. Keep up the good work.

I enjoy the videos, great for a light watch before going to bed in the evening. Marko and Mike seem like the kind of guys that you'd love to get paired with - nice guys who like to have fun and aren't afraid of a little friendly ribbing.

My son often dials up their videos and invites me to sit and watch with him. Pretty fun to watch. We live in California and my son has said, "I want to play with these guys. Maybe they'll play Montreux with us." Heck, we'd like to have them at our CC here in the Sacto area. They'd probably like the course. Will have to reach out... I dig their hats and will be getting a couple of them.

More polished than other course vlogs, no morning after hangover bantor like Crossfield, usually describes club selection and how they're going to hit it. Good music, too.

  • Their swings look very average but nonetheless they are always hitting fairways, GIRs, getting up and down and shooting under par rounds, even on courses they haven’t played before.

Watching that I’m not sold on if that was actually a real bet or just something different to do to draw attention to the channel. The difference however is if you follow their channel the bet is believable, so if it was fake, well done guys.

I see no reason to applaud the bet regardless of wether it real or fake. Even if it was fake (which is very likely) I would never hold it up against them.

Now getting to 6 under at some point during that round when you play off ~10 is outrageous, an insult to all viewers.

Clearly to me they are set on making their channel thrive and will therefore edit out whatever bad shots they need to edit out in order to end up with good rounds that attract more viewers.

Bet is 100% fake, it wasn’t even a good acting job.

I agree about the doubts on the channel. I see a lot of first putts rolling by the hole with some speed and then they cut to the next tee. Or a ball is sitting next to a hazard but a drop was never discussed. Sometimes I wonder if they take extra takes on putts or what not. Their good rounds are not unbelievable by any means and they can be shot. Some of the editing and what not is what raises doubts.

I like the courses they play as it’s local for me, decent banter, etc.... I think one or both are savvy buisness guys and are putting that to work.
  • Spot on. I also find it very intriguing that whenever they land on a bunker it is perfectly raked and the ball is sitting up and there are splashes of sand from previous shots outside the bunker right in their lines.
