Need help with choosing Tensei Pro Orange Driver Shaft

I recently purchased a TM M3 460 with the Pro White 60S. I have only played one round with it, but I don't really like the flex in the butt section. All of my research tells me that the Orange is great shaft with great performance. So, I am going to buy an Orange, however I am unsure whether I should get it in a 60 or 70, and S or XS. I am a 7 handicap and my swing speed with the driver is in the 102-106 range. I tend to get a little quick in my transition at the top. I hit the driver very high and want to keep the ball down with lower spin. I feel like I have to swing really smooth with the White to keep it straight. With respect to the flex, the club I hit the best in my bag right now is an RBZ 3 Hybrid TP with the Ozik X shaft. Prior to the Pro White, I have been hitting an R11S with the 'ahina 60S. I hit that pretty well.

I would get fitted, however there is no good place to get fitted in Syracuse. I went to a TM Performance Center nearby and all they had were the stock shafts. That's how I landed on the White, I just upgraded to the Pro Shaft. I went to a Titliest Demo Day at my club and they only had stock shafts. The best shaft for me that day was the Rogue MAX.

What do you guys think? 60 or 70, S or TX?

Thanks

If you don't like the flex in the butt section then the Pro Orange might not be shaft for you. By all accounts it has an even softer butt section than the White which may be a problem for you. It sounds like you should go up to an X flex since not only have you already had success with one but also feel like you need to swing smoother with an S. Going up in flex may negate some of the problems you're having with flex in the handle but its not a guarantee. Everything else is unfortunately down to personal preference and no answer that you will get in this thread will be any better than any other without more data about your swing, miss tendencies, launch and spin numbers, contact patterns etc etc.

Choose a 60S - you can always tip it, but I don't think it'll be necessary.

Really stout shaft in X - need over 110 mph swing for it.

If you get quick from the top get the 70 stiff and tip it 1/2. I have both the pro orange and pro white and the pro orange feels stiffer in the butt section even though the the EI profile shows it being slightly softer. The Pro Orange is the most anti-left (right handed golfer) I have ever played.

I agree with this. If someone dislikes the white due to the butt, I doubt if they would see much better results with the PO. From my understanding and experience, the Pro Orange is simply a counter balanced Pro White.

I have hit the white, currently own the pro blue in a 60 TX tipped an inch and the orange in stiff at 70 grams tipped a half inch. I have a similiar transition but slightly higher club head speed with the driver 106-108 ish... I play the driver at 44.5 The Pro Orange in 70 grams is perfect for me tipped at a half inch.Although I will say the Pro Blue tipped an inch is not at all rebar. Still feels great and I would probably have it in the bag, had I not hit the orange. Maybe this help you a little, but you should try and hit them first.

Edit for spelling and... I am a high ball hitter, the orange is very low spinning and a flat trajectory although I wish I got a tad more roll. I am going to try a lower lofted head for the additional roll, the shaft is the best I have played. I have had it in the bag for over a year..
