Just depends on weather. Everything will still be dormant. We have had a crazy amount of rain this year, and the ground is saturated. Even a small amount of rain lately has made the courses sloppy.

I was just in MB. The Dunes Club was in tremendous shape even after all the rain. It drains outstanding. Played Caledonia and it was very wet.

Most of the MB courses overseed the tees, fairways and greens. Some don't overseed hybrid greens, but Dye them.

Feb rates are low. Peak rates don't start until mid-March.

You can get a wide range of temps in Feb, so if you can go on short notice, you can find a warm spell.

Was just there over New Years, played Legends, CCU Hackler, and The Dunes. It was still a little wet but not horrible. It was mid 60s- low 70s (which is a bit warmer than expected)

I spoke to a few pros and superintendents. They don't overseed greens anymore, they paint them so they are a really dark green almost black in some areas. But they rolled great. The Dunes and Legends are great deals right now and I have zero complaints about either of them. I played CCU course because I am alum and wanted to see what's new there, I wouldn't suggest playing it to a friend.

If you have a local pro have them call Dunes and get you a tee time. I paid $90 bucks for my time and it was worth every penny. As with Legends it that same deal that has been around for a while, $55 bucks for the round, cart, 2 beers and Breakfast or lunch.

Also, it wasn't crazy crowded, we played in 3:30 at Dunes and 3:45 at Legends. So that was pretty sweet too.
