C130, Convoy or Org14 w/ Clicgear 3.5

I have a older Bagboy Revolver (the one with the 2 external club clips). It’s awesome. Perfect with the 3.5. The top foam/rubber is starting to deteriorate and have to get something new. The new revolvers look cheap and don’t have the same storage.

Looking at the 2019 C130, Alpha Convoy 514 or Org14. I push cart 90% of the time so that is priority. The C130 would be great as a cart bag. The plastic handles on top make it terrible when at an angle on the push cart. I put my woods in the highest slots and wedges in the lowest. The plastic handle on the bottom doesn’t allow the wedges to go all the way in the bag and they hang on the handles. The bag also has a large circumference and seems annoying to connect the top Clicgear bungee straps. I guess those Velcro cart stabilizer straps could wrap over the cradle, but that’s a lot of work.

The convoy seems to have a lot of nice features, but I wish it was a 15 way divider.....and it wasn’t hideous. C130 looks way better.

Org14 seems decent, assuming it’s also made by Ogio, but nothing super special.

Anyone have any feedback with the Clicgear and any of these? Open to any opinions. I saw a few threads on the Convoy but specifically interested in some feedback with the Clicgear.

I use a 14 slot 2018 C130 with an old Sun Mountain V2 Speed Cart. Works fine for me. I have not experienced any issues with the wedges, or any of the clubs, not fitting properly.

I have the Ogio Alpha Convoy and like it for push cart use. Ample storage, and the stowaway system for the carry strap is a nice touch. I chose this over the C130 S stand bag due to pocket layout and the enormous putter well.

C130 only bag I've owned since can't recall how far back, I have 6 of them.

Thanks for the comments. I gave up and ordered a few bags to test fit and will return the ones I don’t like.

2019 C130. I don’t see this working out on a Clicgear 3.5. I like my wedges on the bottom row and there is no way that will work without them hanging on the plastic handle.

Convoy. I wish there were two large side pockets, not just the one. Also wish it was a 15 club divider.

2020 SM Sync. Waiting on this, should be here tomorrow. Hopefully this will be the one.

I wish I'd seen this earlier; sorry. But the Bagboy Chiller, which is a bag designed for push carts AND has a stand, is the best bag I've ever owned, including the C-130. Great storage, the stand is terrific if you're going to the range instead of playing, and has both a compartment to tuck the strap away, and a removable cooler bag that holds four 12 oz cans. FWIW, I'm using the insulated bag to store golf balls during the winter; my bag stays inside when I'm not playing, but I don't want to pull out a ball that has gotten cold during the round.

I'll add to the above that there is no giant brand logo, and that it is priced well below other similar bags, but every bit as well-made.

Using an older model SYNC that is faded but very functional.  Newer version lacks the handle mine has.  

2nd choice was a ping pioneer

I've been following this thread as I've been looking for a better option for my 3.5+ as my SM four5 is just miserable on it. The Bagboy wasn't even on my radar until I saw your post and I've been leaning towards a Ping Hoofer. I see it's made to be integrated into Bagboy pushcarts, but do you have any experience using it on a clicgear 3.5? Also, that flap where the Bagboy logo is just below the putter well, is that a cart strap pass-through to hold the bag down?

I've had a Clicgear for 10 years, and the Bagboy is the best option I've found. The C130 is an excellent bag, and you can get a version that has a stand, but the Bagboy is a better bag for less money.

I use a C130S on my 3.5+. I don’t use the cart pass thru on the top strap as the bag will rotate on the cart otherwise and make sure the leg retainers are engaged so the bottom won’t rub the front wheel. Rides pretty well for me.

My my biggest issue is no matter how many times I adjust the track of the cart to drive straight it eventually pulls slightly to the left. Really annoying. Thinking I’ll adjust it so it pulls right...
