I just had the same problem. I posted a thread as well, but only got 1 or 2 responses. I had the 3.0's but they cracked at the sole and started leaking so I decided to go with the 4.0's because it seems like adidas may have fixed this problem in the 4.0's as they just have one big sole. The LTD's look nice and have gotten alot of good reviews, but I liked the 3.0's so I figured I wouldn't have any problems with the fours.

I have 4.0's, Adipures and Adipure Nuovos. The Adipures are more on par with the LTDs. The 4.0s are a definate upgrade to the 3.0s and a great shoe. There is a lot of technology in that shoe and makes it great. However if it's the look you want, choose the Adipures. However, at Edwin Watts.com, the 4.0's are on sale @ $150. But given the choices, choose the 4.0s unless you want to swallow the price of the Adipures. They are worth the upgrade over the LTDs. They took ALL of the input they got from the LTDs and made the Adipures.

The 4.0s may fit you a little better. The toe box is noticably wider in the current shoes this year. The 4.0s are much more comfy.

I have black LTD's and white 4.0's. I have worn the 4.0's three times now and I am very happy with them HOWEVER I still find my LTD's more comfortable in the long run. That said, I would say go with the LTD's.

I have both and I like the LTD's better. If you can get them close to similar price then go with those

i think the price difference may win me over for the 4.0s
i have tried the Nuovos and i like them a lot, but if i buy another pair of shoes this year it may be the all white 4.0s with blk stipes simply based on price. they both feel good to me, but for $40 more, i am not sure what justification i would have to get the nuovos.

that said, i am still waiting on finding a deal on the TW2010 in white. the toe box on the nike shoes fit me so well and i like the look of this years TW line.

I dont have a pair of the 4.0's but in comparision to my 3.0's or any of the other 5 pairs of shoes I have the LTD'S are the most comfortable pair I own.

I have Tour 360 3.0 and a new pair of 4.0. I actually like the 3.0 for walking better.

The odd thing is, I wear 11.5 wide in 3.0, and 11 wide in 4.0, so I guess they did widen toe box a bit, as Adidas of the past were very narrow.

See some LTDs on teh Bay NIB for cheap...anyone comment, do the LTD fit along loine of 3.0 or closer to 4.0 ? Need to know which size, 11 or 11.5 wide would be best.

Thanks in advance.

I own a Pair of LTD's & 360 4.0's while I find both pair equally comfortable the LTD's tounge seems to annoy me for some reason. The 360 4.0 seems slightly wider than the LTD's but you cant go wrong with either pair. When I need another pair I will go with the 360 4.0's just because of the tounge..

I've had a half dozen pairs of Adidas golf shoes before with nary a fit problem, can't say that anymore. I'm a plain ol' straightforward size 10 medium. Found that I had to get either 10-wide or 10.5-medium in order for the shoe to work (got one of each, differenct colors), these shoes have a very narrow toe-box. The shoes required a decent amount of break-in and both pairs gave me blisters on the heel. Also, the odd tongue system is kind of sharp and firm at the top and cut into the front part of my ankle. After several rounds in each, heels taped, they've broken in and seem to be fine now but overall I would not recommend the LTD's, stick with some of the other Adidas model that have a standard tongue system.

Both are great, but I haven't found the lower profile causing me to want to upgrade from my LTDs or 3.0 pairs. I have LTD in black and brown and 3.0 in White/Titan. I like them all, but the best fit I've ever had have been Footjoys. The FJs are just so traditional golf looking. Since I don't play enough, style matters as much as performance so Adidas LTD wins unless it's muddy out for me.

itz wired...i every pair of Jordan i have from 1st to 23rd is in size 10.5, and every Garnett shoes in Adidas are all in size 10.5 as well, but i feel 10.5 in 4.0 has quiet room there, so i have to put size 10M on to fit me best for golf

I have both, and here is my 2 cents.

Both are good shoes, but I actually prefer the LOOK of the LTDs more, but I find the 4.0s to be a little more COMFORTABLE.

With that being said, I originally wasn't too sure about the AdiPures since I assumed they'd basically be the same thing as the LTDs, but I tried them on in the store and WOW, they are truly amazing. I will be picking up some Adipures for sure.
