Bridgestone E5 good greenside spin Ok spin with full shots but feels a little firm. good price.

Taylormade burner TP LDP Very good ball all around. not very durable. very well priced

Topflite GamerV2. love everything about this ball but the lack of spin. it feels great and is longgggg but just does not spin enough around the green for me. Best ball for the $

I think the TM Burner TP performs more like a tour ball than any other. But like I said it does not last very long.

I used to like the Bridgestone e6, played very similar to the B330S, which was my regular ball, but held up better to my wedges. Just as long if not a tad longer off the tee, and maybe just a tiny bit less spin off the irons/wedges.....

I really did question why I didn't play them all the time vs. the B330S, especially when I'm just out playing for fun and not in a competitive round.....

Granted, this was a few years ago, I don't know how much they have changed the e6 since then, but I doubt very much.

TF Gamer V2 and TM Burner TP, I have played them every other round and couldn't be happier. I tend to play the TF when I know I am striking the ball well, and the TM when I am good enough.

I agree with joekelli, the TM do get beat up quickly. I also agree that the TF leaves much to be desired immediately around the green, need to play more of a bump and run than a flop and stop chip.

That having been said, i prefer the TF, mostly because it means i am hitting them well. $20 now for a 15 pack, can't beat that.

Agreed. It is the same ball with a different dimple pattern which honestly doesnt make that big of a difference. It will be difficult to find the Tour Fire anymore since they havent been produced in 3 years.

Most of the midspin ionomer/surlyn cover balls are pretty close in terms of performance. Try a bunch out and pick what feels best.

I forgot to add the Wilson Zip as a good low priced ball if you can still find them. Also Take a look at the Wilson Tour FG. I have not played one but one of the guys I was playing with recently is a 4hdcp and he was playing them and said they were every bit as good as a proV and almost half the price!

I personally like these two in this order: Callaway HX Bite and Titleist NXT Tour. I find the Cally to check a bit more on the greens. Other than that they're pretty comparable to each other.

The FG Tour is a great ball - feels good off the driver, irons, and putter, and way more durable than the Titleist. But it's a bit more than 1/2 the price, unless you guys pay way too much for Pro V1s - I mean even more than their already overinflated price.

I like the Top Flite D2 Feel every bit as much as the Gamer V2 and it's even less money. 15 balls for $14.95, sometimes less.

It doesn't spin as much off the wedge as a ProV1, but it's longer and straighter off the tee, very durable and I have no problem stopping any full iron shot. It just doesn't check as fast on a short chip.
