ProV1x user. Want lower spin off tee.

Guys I'm a 2012/2013 ProV1x user. Is there a premium 2012/2013 ball that will give me better performance off the tee (lower spin) without sacrificing too much around the greens?

normal V1X user as well...i got a box of the "spin skin" z-star xv for christmas, much better green side spin than the previous xv and i still think it's lower spinning off the tee than prov1x. i'm also looking forward to the new B330 which i should be getting a complimentary 2 ball sleeve soon.

On a related note, where can i go to sign up for complimentary balls from titlesit, bridgestone, callaway, etc.?

I went from the prov1 x to the hex chrome and I have found it far less spiny off the tee but still a ball I can stop on the greens and control the spin with chips

i made a hole in 1 last year with a B330, i registered it on bridgestones website....fast forward to a week ago and they contacted me to fill out a product survey saying i would receive a 2-ball sleeve of the new B330. didn't expect it, was gonna buy a sleeve anyways to try out, but now i guess i'll just wait for it in the mail.

Went from the 2012 V1x to the Hex Chrome+. The 2013 V1x lost too much into the wind and just wasn't the same ball. Had great success and enjoyed the Chrome+. It played similar to the older V1x models and I had no problems stopping it around the greens.

Callaway SR series, Chrome+, and Lethal all spin less off driver; I have confirmed this on Trackman. The mentioned Callaway balls won't leave you short of approach spin, but you may find the Lethal lacking slightly.

PS All balls mentioned also gave me higher ball speed than V1x

I'm thinking 2012/13 B330 or Lethal. I can stand to lose some spin on approaches...just worried about chipping and specialty shots.

I get less spin with a B330 and a B330s compared to the Pro V1X (all last year's models).

Even with B330-S?

I was surprised, but yes even with the S. I spin the two B330s almost the same with the driver, the S spins about 100 rpms more. The Pro V1X spun a little more than 100 rpms than the S for me. I am not a high spin player, and these balls range in the 1900 - 2150 range for me.

another vote for chrome+.
compared to prov1x, i get less spin off driver and more spin with irons.
i dont know how they make it but it is pretty awesome.

Lot of love for chrome+. Never even considered a Callaway ball.

I moved from prov1x to Srixon ZStar XV and very impressed with the switch

I'm gaming the Chrome + and love them. I initially chose them on price point but after using them I am converted. The new XV is a top ball but Chrome+ kills it on price points.

I haven't got a chance to try the new Srixon XV's yet, but I would throw a vote out there for last years B-330. I don't recall the difference but it was lower when I compared to the V1X on trackman.

I haven't hit it on Trackman - but the B-330 RX has got to be even less. I hit some massive drives and mid-long irons with that ball at a SS at 114. That also seemed to spin noticeably less going into the greens though as well. Even better than the distance I feel these are the straightest as well.

Also I see the notes mentioning the lethal. I finally played that ball my last two rounds, and judging by the distance on good hits I've got to believe it spins less as others have mentions. Both times on a hole where a good drive with a Srixon XV or ProV1x puts me 5-10 yds in front of the green I put this ball off the back fringe. Cant say it was wind aided as I was hitting multiple shots to compare - and the other balls didn't get there. Strangely mishits seemed to go further off line with this ball then similar swings with the other ball - I'd have thought with less spin it would be straighter as well. The Lethal gets bonus points for being the best feeling ball IMO as well. Looking forward to giving it a full test this season.

Another vote for the Chrome+

I really like the ProV1x, but just can't deal with the price. Tried the Chrome+ based on recommendations from here and it's great. Much better off the driver and in the wind especially. Much more productive spin on full iron shots, doesn't spin too much. Doesn't seem to balloon on misses as much either. Still very manageable around the green and on touch shots.

Try em, might be the best $30 you spend this year.
