Best New Nike Shoes

Stocked up on the Lunar Commands with the full length lunar and they are dying.

 

I have recently gotten some KDs for the gym and Epic Reacts to wear around and love them both. Can’t decide which cushioning is better. I usually walk when I play, so I take my cushioning seriously.

 

Anyone able to compare Air Zoom Victory and React Vapor 2? Which is more comfortable?

I have 4 pairs of the Air Zoom Victory Tours, I love them. I have 2 pairs of TW71s collecting dust now lol

In my opinion the current react vapor 2 dont come close to the lcv2 in comfort. I picked up a pair of premiere tours this year and they are the most comfortable pair of golf shoes I've owned to date.

Okay, thanks for the feedback. All the other React soles I see are super thick and that’s sorta why I didn’t jump on the shoes right away. Didn’t feel amazing trying them on.

 

Also would consider the Vapor’s with Lunar sole if anyone has feedback on those

Tour premieres are the most comfortable. I use the KD’s for basketball and have the epic react fly knit 2 for every day use.

Tour Premier style is too sorta formal for my style. Based on the Tour Premier feedback, I’m thinking maybe Zoom Victory. I’d imagine the cushioning is similar?

I got to the story today. Well actually, I had to hit up 2 stores. PGA SS had some of the stuff I wanted to try and Golf Galaxy had the rest. I tried on Roshe Tour, TW Fast fit, Vapor Pro (lunar), Vapor 2 (react), and air zoom tour victory. No one had the regular Air Zoom Victory in stock.

I was surprised, but based on the lack of review enthusiasm on this thread and the reviews on the shoe store sites, I thought the Vapor 2 was going to be a dud and have a weird fit. I ended up loving that shoe. Found the sizing to be great, loved how the upper flexed, and though the cushioning was amazing. Definitely felt like way better cushioning than Lunar.

The Roshe Tour was a fairly close second to me. I think that is probably the best looking golf shoe Nike has ever made. I also felt like the stability was there too. I didn't find the midsole as comfortable and I hadn't work a more transitional style leather upper in a while and it felt sorta stiff.

I was really on the fence and the price difference was sorta hard to ignore.

Ended up going with the Vapor 2 because of cushy they are. The longer water proof warranty also made me thing they might up better over time.

Anyone have the Roshe tour? Are they stiff? I could probably be convinced to go exchange them if anyone has some good Roshe Tour feedback

A lot depends on what fits your foot. For me, the React Vapor 2 are by far the most comfortable shoes I've had in a while. I found the other Nike offerings either too narrow or with a last that didn't match up with my feet. But this year's React Vapor 2 is the best fitting shoe of all manufacturers this year for me. I think it's last is a bit wider and the footbed a bit flatter.

Yeah, I was going to combat that earlier review that said the react vapor 2 were less comfortable than the previous model. The react vapor 2 are the most comfy Nike I’ve ever tried on.

I have a pair of Roshe tours and they are awesome. Walked all of sand valley in them and my feet didn't hurt once. That being said I love the premieres too. The regular roshe may be the most comfortable shoe I own but sadly have zero water resistance so it makes them less of an option.

Ive got them all from Tour Premiers, Roshe Tours, all of the Jordans ever released Vapor 2, Lunar Commadn etc.... and I'd say the Roshe Tours and the Jordan AG's are probably the best all around. Premiers are close though.

That's a great point. I felt like the React's were the most comfortable shoe I have ever tried on. In fully disclosure, I like the look of the Roshe and Vapor ( Lunar) of the 2019 models the best. Lunar Vapor 2 was just so comfortable, I couldn't pass them up.

If I was our tour, I'd totally get a PE with Roshe upper, w/Flywire added, and the React out sole.

I have three pairs of the regular Roshe's.....most comfortable golf shoes I've worn that have great breath ability

I finally gave up my Adidas tour360 XT SL because can not get used to the high arch support. But the Boost is indeed very comfortable. Then I went to try Zoom Victory Tour and Vapor React2, hoping to find a same or similar comfortable replacement. I also brought my Lunar Control Vapor2 to compare with. The Victory Tour is the most comfortable one, even the Vapor React2 is also with React form. My LVC2 felt like significantly harder. Ended up buying the Victory Tour and walked 18 holes immediately. No pain no sour, and familiar height (drop) with my other Nike shoes. Glad I pulled the trigger.

Haven't used nike golf shoes in a couple years but bit the bullet on the grey Air Max 1 G. Very comfy and great traction. I'm a 10.5 in all nike basketball shoes and the Air max G's are very similar in sizing.

Wore the Reacts today, was very pleased with them. It’s amazing how much softer and more cushy the React is than the Lunar. Shame it’s not available in more models.

I picked up 3 pairs of Air Max 1's. Was previously an Adidas / Ecco guy. I have them in White, Black, and Grey. I walk almost every round and these do not give me foot fatigue in the slightest. Also, I prefer non-spike shoes. I don't like leaving marks on the green and almost never play in the rain/sloppy conditions so I don't need every possible traction help I can get.
