2019 Z star versus Chromesoft

Zstar is a better ball IMO and I'm a big Cally fan. Chrome Soft X triple track ball is the best Cally currently offers and I'd put neck and neck with the Zstar.

Accidentally forgot my Z stars on the counter and when I got to the course last week bought a couple sleeves of chrome softs. At least for me a saw no difference tee to green. While putting the chromesoft just seemed, mushy? I don't know if that's the right word, but all my putts were either short or dying in the cup. Very easily could be my putting that day, but usually not my miss. YMMV

Bought some ZStars on sale, wasn't impressed at all. I play CS X until it's below 60 then regular CS.

I'll caveat off the bat that I much prefer the X / XV, but I definitely feel like I have far more control from ~120 and in with the Srixon. Be it relatively subliminal or not, I also seem to much prefer the feeling around the green and off the putter face with it. Long stuff is much of a muchness if I am honest, but I can't help but feel _slightly _longer with the XV. I haven't got ANY numbers to support, however for context I am currently moving from the CSX which I played all last year as there was just 'something' I wasn't happy with. I've tried TP5x, Snell MTB-X, Prov1X and the XV. I've finally settled on the Srixon because of price and I have very quickly settled to know what it will do when it hits the green.

It could be a coincidence based on comment, but like J13 I have a Stroke Lab double wide @ 35.5" :D

I like the Z Star better. It just feels better to me. The Callaway feels too soft, especially off the putter. I like the Snell MBT-X better than either of them.
