Bushnell Pro 1M Slope E12 Error

To be fair to bushnell here in the UK I sent my Pro1M in after calling about the E12 error and since my golf club is about 2 minutes drive from their head office I was allowed to go and collect a brand new X7. Took about 3 days to get sorted. Couldn't ask for better than that.

Just got the dreaded e12 error code....paid $20 to send it back....ughhh!

Amazon has it for $159 today. Is this still a waste of money or does it appear that Bushnell fixed this defect?

I'm wondering the same thing. Amazon says that anything shipped from their stock has been fixed by replacing the motherboard and updating the software.

I think I might risk it and try it out.

Does anyone know if this one is like some of the slope edition range finders to where you can "turn off" the slope feature and make it legal for tournament play?

I am not aware of this feature...except on the newer models.

I bought the 1m Slope Edition last week and the red "mode" button on the backside allows you to turn slope mode off.

you can turn slope off but it's still not tournament legal depending on the tournament. The newer tour x models copied the Leupold where you can change faceplates to make it tournament legal

Do you have to buy the warrenty or is it standard 2 years? For $160 I want to buy it but if it does fail I don't want a paper weight for $160

Just wanted to update on this topic since I just had the e12 show up on my pro m1. I was kind of dreading the call since I'm sure it's past the warranty. Bushnell was amazing to work with. Just said to send it in and will receive a new x7. Glad their customer service was great.

Kudos to Bushnell for awesome customer service. Had an off warranty (bought in 2012 or so) Pro 1M with the e12 error. I mailed it to them per the instructions on their site and got a brand new one within 2 weeks. Really nice to see that kind of service these days....
