PD, what clubs are in your G25 set? And what shafts? Standard
or other length and what color code? And what grips and color code?
Might be able to trust this guy. He had his picture up as his avatar for a while and he only looked a little bit shady. ;)

Bick, have you tried the Wilson 50elite balls?? Really nice balls for around $1 a ball.
I may have, I used a Wilson ball last year I found on the course and liked it, but didn't pay attention to what it was other than W.S.. I tried the Duo, and didn't really care for those. I think it had a 51 as the ball number on it, and it was yellow.

Thank you for the tip sir, It can't hurt to give them a try.
For the price they're hard not to at least try, I got a box of 24 at the end of last season for $26 and they still seem to be the same price. My Jaws MD wedge couldn't even hurt the covers to much, not at all like it did to the supersoft and project (a) balls. I read Member Goobers compare them to the Pro V's in a post one day, and she is a really good golfer. So they must be good enough for us eh :)

The ball you mentioned sounds like it's a 50elite, there are marked 51,52,53 and do come in yellow. Was it really soft feeling off the clubface?? If so it was most likely it :)
I remember it felt pretty good, and I could get it to hop and stop on full shots. I could get enough spin on greenside shots to live with it. So it probably was, and I bought the wrong ball.

Conrad,

I carried the clubs for 1/2 a season until I was bit by Wishon fever.

The set consists of a 5 - SW (and I also have Gorge wedges in 52, 54, 60*). The G25's are standard length, red dot, and have Pings graphite shafts installed in regular flex. Grips are newly installed Lamkin permawrap ace, but I also have the original set in lightly used condition (painstakingly pulled with a removal tool). I farted around with the paintfill but can return them to standard quite easily.

Pigs,

Congrats on the hybrid sale. Hopefully when the Wager draws to a close we will have cleaned out a few of the 'extras'.

I want to say that my hoarding days are over, but I believe that's 'fool's gold'.

TY sir, it was quicker than expected. Yeah, I have a feeling the piles will start to build up again after the Wager Ends, at least for the first little while while we spurge anyways lol

Conrad, correct me if I'm wrong but weren't you mulling over a test of the Karsten irons?
Like everyone I get torn sometimes LP. I've been thinking about some
Karstens and some S55s and some Mizzy blades, lol.

I already have a sets of i20s, G15s and Rapture V2 irons but all those
have steel shafts. I am experiencing the things that come with advancing
age like sore joints and muscles, lol. The graphite shafts may be good
for me and the G25s are good irons.

Since PD has a set that fits my specs it just might be the stars lining up
for both of us!

Geez, I must be older than I thought. ;)

Go with what works best for you, PD. If it GI or SGI, so be it. If it's something smaller, so be it. It all comes down to what helps you play your best.

In my world you are all middle aged. Forgetful middle aged men and women who hunt flagsticks and hit the ball a country mile.
