You should be able to get it repaired.

Inspect the club head though, if there are ball impact marks where the shaft enters the head (this part of the club head is called the hosel) this would be a good indicator as to why the head sailed off and the shaft snapped.
Clubs are not designed to have a ball repeatedly strike that part and graphite shafts will break if that happens.

If it just "came off" and the two parts (shaft and clubhead) are intact, there should be no issues epoxying them back together.

That happened top me once with a fairway wood. It was a really good shot, the ball went 9 miles, the clubhead went 60 yards. I was standing there holding a non headed shaft, with a befuddled look on my face.

Of course I needed that club 12 more times that round.....

Anyway, I took it home, cleaned the parts, epoxied and played the club without issues. (the first hit was a breath holder thinking the clubhead would disappear.)

Do you keep your clubs in the trunk? It is not good for the glue to be in a hot trunk over along period of time.
That can lead to heads flying off as well.

You can keep your clubs in the trunk in the hottest desert and the epoxy will not be compromised your grips might not last as long but there will be not effect the epoxy bond.

POSSIBILITIES: Bad epoxy job.Wrong tip size for hosel. Hosel never reamed out to bottom.
[/quote]

Many other possibilities:
Sitting in a trunk that reaches over 250 degrees constantly ( its the summer )
Same with leaving it in a garage that reaches ungodly temperatures.
You smashed it into the ground on a drop kick and jarred it loose.

The club head should be easily repaired:

Shaft is not broken
Club head not broken

Expect costs: Re-using your own shaft: $15-$45 depending where you are.
Having to get a used basic DECENT shaft replacement ( Pro launch blue- UST v2 - Aldila NV etc)
these will retail for about $39- $59 each, add labor, and a new grip.

Shaft says, Aldila DVS-HL 55 s. Speed tuned. Ball speed 125-155mph. Weight: 55g Kick:mid torgue:4.6°

Thanks! That's the first time I read that. From a mechanics point of view. It's that a limiting factor in drive distance. If I over torque the shaft. Technically the club head is arriving later than intended? Or am I over thinking and the game isn't that hard:)

is this the right place for questions like that

I've never though of torque as a limiting factor to distance--to my eyes, it's both a feel and a timing thing which makes it a performance deal. I tend to play shafts with mid/low torque (my Accra has 3.0). If I play a torque-e shaft, I usually struggle to time it right (just like playing a club at too light of flex). If I catch it, it may go for a mile, but my misses are all over the place. For you to really figure this out, you'd need to go get fit--it took me an hour long fitting to figure out what shaft to put in my driver and I did not end up with anything near what I had been playing with (I jumped up a flex and ended up with a completely different profile/balance point)...to my eyes a fitting isn't going to make you Tiger, but it can be the difference between the 10 yards of carry over a hazard or (more importantly for me) the difference between being on the edge of the fairway and the primary cut of rough.

I asked a pro at the range today about getting fitted. Watching and listening to my swing. He said I would most likely benefit from a stiffer shaft. He recommended a shop. He also said I have an above average club head speed. He could hear it??? Which I am starting to doubt golfers. A co-worker has always had 300yd stories...then again the f***er was lucky to make 220 today...a sloppy 220 at best.
