I tend to hit most of my shots very high and land softly on the green and with these moving the ball back a half inch still gave me a very high shot with much more Carry and when I moved it up in my stance I still got my high soft landing shots. Everything that I hit felt so good that I will be gaming these immediately. Well of course once the damn snow is gone. As I said previously I have never had a set of clubs fitted for me I have always played everything right off the rack. With these I took a gamble and ordered what I figured I would like and I'm pretty happy with the selections I made from the research that I've done on these forums. My best score this year was a 63 and that was with shafts that I was not totally comfortable with because they never felt quite right for me swing. So I'm anxious to see how low I can go with shafts that feel really good. All in all these vapor pros are incredible feeling and more forgiving than my 2012 pro combos. On good shots they feel like a hot knife through butter. Haha. Yeah I know, dumb comparison but you guys get the point.

Thanks. I will keep you posted. Ya, longer than my PC for sure but I'm sure it's a lot to do with the shaft. The PXi are stiffer for me. Forgiving is tough to tell yet as I'm a pretty consistent ball striker. I had a couple near the toe today that still carried and went straight.

Currently on the course playing in ridiculous winds in Dallas using my vr pro combos. I went and hit the vapor pro combos earlier today for the first time. After hitting those, and now on the course, all I feel when I hit my long irons is "clink." I dislike the feeling.

They are growing the rough now in order to get ready for the WGC. They are also going to make the fairways not as wide soon.

Fairways are decent size, but easy to lose balls in the rough

I really like the set up so far but if I did it over again I might go 7-pw in the pro. To be honest I was very surprised at how easy the pros are to hit and how forgiving they are. Not sure what I would do, I am just really impressed overall. I did weaken the vpc to match the pros. Probably not needed but I feel better knowing the loft gaps all match.

Played my first rounds of golf with my vapor pro combos is weekend. I ordered with Nippon modus shafts and I have to say I so impressed. Imam switching from Apex Pro irons which I loved and I think these are way better. First the Nippon shafts are great, stable yet soft and my trajectory is much higher than with Alex pros and KBS tour shafts. Despite the increased trajectory I don't seem to have lost any distance in fact they might be longer but I could be in the honeymoon phase. Overall couldn't be happier and can't wait to play again just want it to be above 50....

I finally was able to get outside with my VPC irons, and compare them to my CF. I hit about 200 balls alternating between the irons. I think I like my CF irons better. I have the 950gh in the CF and the DGPRO 300 in the VPC, so it could be the shafts. When I hit either in the middle the feel was fantastic, but the mishits were better in the CF. I know the lofts are stronger on the CF so I did not compare distance.

I really do like the look of the VPC better, the top line add shape I much prefer to the CF, but it's hard to knock the performance. Bi am not sure what I am going to do, I don't want to change the shafts and out more money into them. Now that winter is here, I won't get a chance to use them until April or so, I may sell them and visit a demo day in the spring.

I did demo the VPC, and I loved them, but it was indoors, and once I got outside on grass there was a difference between the 2 sets.
