the irons look good, but the shiny badge in the cavity looks a little silly against the rest of the club -- the contrast is just too much.

I'm not normally a fan of cleveland equiptment, but I can honestly say that I like the looks of those. I do have to agree with the previous poster, Those shiny badges in the cavity just look out of place but other than that they are SWEET :)

These Irons are called the CG4 "Tour Concept". If you ever get the chance to hold one there is a TC in the hosel. They are really nice! My buddy works for cleveland and has a chrome set.

They actually have a "C" on the hosel. I have a set and they are great irons.

Hi Everyone... the most interesting thing happend to me today. Last time I purchased clubs was in 96 Titleist DCI's. I was pretty much sold on either mizuno 67's or Titleist 695mb's. I went to my local driving range-pro school and the Cleveland tour van was there, due to a cancelation on another location. The pro-fitter told me to try out the CG4 Tour Concept model. The same shown above, but all chrome, which i believe makes a better contrast btw. My friends, after i was fitted to exact specifications, what a club. After 5 hours of fun, i walked out with 3- PW Tour Concepts (S400) -15 Hibore Fairway wood(VS Proto 70-S) and a 2i Hibore Hybrid (VS Proto Hybrid 80-S). The Tour Concepts have a "C" in the back of the hosel. i'm going back to look at the Drivers again, man the drivers are sweet. if it wasn't because of ordering a Titleist 907D2 i would of bought that as well on the spot. 158 ball speed, ball spin 2400 avg and carried 260yrd avg. Needless to say it was a great day.

Do you happen to be in the Carolina's somewhere? I am guessing as a very good friend of mine happens to work on the tour experience van and is playing the CG4 Tour Concepts right now. I am just wondering if he was the one who fit you, he happens to be a very good fitter and works hard to always make sure the customer is satified with what they are getting.

 

Enjoy! They are a beautiful set of clubs, I got an opportunity to hit them the last time he was home.

yes, I am in Charlotte, NC. Sounds like we're talking about the same person. Great guy, and yes a HELL of a fitter, he definitely knows his stuff. I picked up a GM2 Exchange #6 putter, what a difference a real putter makes. He also personalized a 56 wedge 588 DSG wedge for me. Would home be Minnesota?

Yes my home is Minnesota and we are talking about the same guy. He knows his stuff doesn't he? To boot he is not only a great fitter but a very good builder as well. His personality is made for the business. I will be playing a lot of golf during the Month of August as he is on vacation and likes to play all the difficult golf he can. I have to show my love for Cleveland as all but my putter is Cleveland currently. Now I just need to find the right combination head/shaft in the XL and I am set as I am still plugging away with my COMP. I think I may be close with a Tour XL 9.5 and NVS 70 Stiff, I hit that combination well and just need to spend a little more time with the combo to get fully acclaimated.

I've just sent Cleveland CG 4 tour 3-PW and CG10 52* and 58* clubs to be stripped to a raw finish. These clubs look great.

Wow, talk about bringing a thread back from the dead....but either way those are not normal CG4 Tour just simply in "raw" finish. They are a completely different head made to look like CG4s
