That chunk into the water on 18 and his reaction showed his true colors for me. Anyone that can laugh at himself in a moment like that has some backbone. I am guessing he will go on to be one of the players we all know in the future. Probably a dozen wins or so on tour. Maybe a major or two. I am looking forward to seeing what he can do. It is too bad Watson didn't pick him for the Ryder Cup. I think he would have been great for it.

Every interview I have ever heard from a golfer was at least understandable. They all speak better than Notah Begay. I understand about 15% of all the words he mumbles.

2 weeks ago when Billy chunked that shot on 18 and missed a potential playoff, Steve Sands interviewed Billy post round. I thought it was awesome because Billy wasn't afraid to say "I'm PISSED off" on on NBC.

...the they cut back to a wide eyed Johnny Miller who get's uncomfortable when the word "dang" is tossed around.

KB said he yelled so loud he almost passed out at one point, you can only imagine what Horschel would do. Definitely think Captain's picks should occur after the TC to take advantage of the momentum as much as possible...

Athletes can't win with the over the top media these days. Look at what happened to Rory, after his harmless Tiger/Phil comments. People say they want honesty, then an athlete gives a honest interview and is thrashed in the media. Athlete gives a boring interview and is thrashed for it. Better to be thrashed for saying nothing....like Tiger ...than to be thrashed for saying too much..
Billy comes off as honest and forthcoming with his thoughts....he will learn better....lol
