Titleist 712U 4 iron KBS-Tour vs AP1 4 iron Dynalite Gold XP (Driving iron)

I need your help. What do you think, which one of these, 712U with KBS-Tour r flex or AP1 Dynalite Gold XP r flex both 4 iron is longer and more forgiving?

AP1 4 or 3 iron would be my choice.

IMO. AP1. I have the AP1 4 iron and tried the the 712U in the 4 iron with the same shafts in each head. AP1 is more forgiving and I think more solid. Just can't get used to that hollow feeling of any of the 712U's. Distance was pretty similar.

If it were me, I would choose 712U or a hybrid (which is actually what I chose...). I play AP2 and bought both a 4i and 5i in AP1.

I don't mind the thicker top line, the longer blade length, or the wider sole of the AP1 but despite multiple attempts with quite a few different manufacturers and models over the years, I simply cannot adjust to that much offset.

If you don't have compulsive issues requiring the same OEM, you might consider the Mizuno MP H5.

Ap1 no doubt. From the tee box or fairway one could argue either way for this or that reason m... Go try to hit it from the rough and bet 20 bucks on getting it on the green. I'd pick ap1 10/10 times.

Hit them both and pick the one that is easier to hit and goes higher, assuming you are planning on using this club approaching the green. Don't want extra stress on those shots.
