Starting to rust! It was raining and pretty humid last night so I left them out on the porch.

Took my 54* Square out to the range Saturday morning and to the course today. It feels great. Very easy to control the ball. Hit some really good chips today and a couple of really good full shots with it. Grind worked great in the soft, wet conditions out here in Houston. Will probably get one of the 58* later on this summer when my old VR Forged needs to be replaced.

is it crazy to go 50sq, 54 ts, 58ts? or should I go 54sq if I think I'll be hitting more 85%-full swing shots with it?

Picked up a 50 SS, 54 SS and all three grinds in the 58. All bent 1 weak. So far the toe sweep is almost like cheating.

i got mine on Friday, played twice over the weekend, and I noticed a spot on the face where it looks like the coating has come off. I did not hit anything byt golf balls, no roots or even sand for that matter. I know I hit it a little on the toe side, but it was still in the grooves.

I put the pic down below, does this appear normal to anyone? I have contacted DD's to see what can be done. Your thoughts?

I decided to go with the 52 and 56 Square. I'm still debating the 60 Dual Sole, but I'm going to hold out on that for now. I really want my 56 to be my highest lofted wedge.

I'll be picking them up today but probably won't get to hit them until Saturday.

I rely too much on the Mickelson flop with my 60 and I really want to get away from that. I figure if I take it out of the bag I'll be less tempted!

I had better success in my game when the only wedge I carried outside of the set's PW was my 52*. I would use my 52* for every shot inside 100 yards. so I'm thinking a better gap for me is the Vapor Pro PW at 47*, then a 52 and 56. I'll use the 56 for sand and small chips from the fringe is my plan.

I got my custom order today 52 square and 56 toe sweep..... But my 60 dual sole has not been delivered yet. I ordered all my wedges together. Any others have this happen? Only part of order gets shipped

So I am looking at replacing my 52 and 56 SM5 Pokeys with some Engage Wedges

I have Vapor Pro Combo's so have a bit of a gap between the 46 PW and the 52 SM5 and since I have a space in the bag I was thinking of going 50, 54 & 58

The 58 will be almost exclusively for use from Bunkers so i'm thinking Toe Sweep whereas the 50 and 54 will be fairway clubs as I seem to end up with a lot of 60-120 yard shots into greens so could use the versatility so i'm thinking square for the 50 and dual sole for the 54

It's interesting to see lots of people choosing the DS for a 58 and a TS for a 54.......is this to use the 54 from bunkers and the 58 as a lob wedge??

Would a dual sole still be good from sand?

They dont make a DS 54. but you're correct on the second part. TS also better from rough

The TS is great everywhere. Including in the bunkers. I think I like the TS waaaayyyy better in almost every scenario I face versus the DS which tends to dig. I sit firmly in the "most people don't use enough bounce" camp, however.

I believe the release in Japan is late June-early July so you should be able to pick one up on Rakuten pretty easily.
Several shops on Rakuten are already listing them.

I'm thinking of going 52 SS, 56 TS and 60 DS or TS. I'm typically a digger or a slider when i'm swinging well.
1. Can anyone with a TS 54 or 56 comment on how it works on partial or full shots off the fairway?
2. Typically I hit my 52 from 90-120 yards about 75-100% swing, 56 from 60-80 yards and a majority of chipping and sand shots, 60 from less than 50 yards partial and some softer lob shots / high bunker shots. What do you think of that setup for those types of shots for those grinds? Would you suggest something else?

Looks sweet. ..Let me know how she spins. I still use some VR Red Forged wedges that spin the s*** out of the ball. But I'd like a more versatile grind.
