Just got my 54 square with px 7.0. It looks phenomenal. Also waiting on 60 degree with s400. I'm a little worried I am going to regret getting s400 in those as opposed to 7.0. I have always played s300 or 400 in my 60 degree so I thought that was the way to go again but I really like the feel of px since I converted recently, I'm guessing it'll be fine but it's easy to worry

Does anyone else play a different shaft in their 60 degree that they don't hit many full shots with or am I doing something strange?

honest question, I've been wanting the nike engage wedges and really leaning towards them after this thread.

currently i run dg r300's in both my irons and my ping wedges.. would the s400's be too much for me in the wedges? should I get them replaced for r300's? or not worth the time/trouble

Does anyone have input on how the 58 DS performs in the bunker?

I currently have a 50 SQ and I am debating going 54 SQ then 58 DS to finish the set or 56 (bent to 55) and 60 DS.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

I would play the r300 in the wedges you'll be using for full shots. There shouldn't be an upcharge if you custom order.

Here's my .02 the TS should only be played in 58* and 60*. Bunkers and rough around the greens. The TS is money in bad lies, the worst lies the better the club performs.

The SQ is so versatile that I'd game it from 46-57*

If the TS wasn't so good from the junk and sand I'd game the 58 SQ.

Totally agree! The 60TS is money from horrible lies. I still am uncomfortable taking a fuller shot with it and have chunked a few. The 52 SQ and 56 SQ are great on full and abbreviated swings. They are great for low spining checkers around the green and 25-85 yard pitch shots and full swings are rewarded. The 60TS is a straight up trouble club. Hit it into the "no,no" spot and it will get you out

I have quite a bit of time on the short game area w them

Ill leave it at this
The TS got me up and down twice from greenside bunkers
Im so confident in it already, I purposely hit it in the bunker on 18 on a par 5 .... Guess what
I got it up and down for birdie to a tight pin, water behind the green w zero margin for error

ITS THAT FREAKING GOOD

Thats the only loft they didnt have in the Square. Figures, lol. But for sure the 50-52-58-60 Square had a different grind compared to the 56 Square.
The 56 Square has a beveled-blunted leading edge with what looked and felt like more bounce, almost like a very slight V sole

In my experience, not as good as the TS. The grind/bounce configuration is made for max performance out of the sand and deep rough. Your mileage may vary.

the TS is pretty special grind ..... no knocking the DS, but if you use ur current 60 out of the bunker, you pretty much NEED the TS

I think something has been mentioned, either through Nike publicity or somewhere else, that the 56* was designed around Tiger's personal grind. Maybe that's why it's slightly different, or I could be wrong and thinking about the DS.

Cleaned up my TS from its debut round, then wrapped it in a really damp towel to leave overnight and speed up the rusting process. Well, the joke was on me because after about two hours, I decided to check up on it. I unwrapped the towel, but all the rust ended up staying on the towel, I had an orange-brownish Engage-shaped blotch on the towel. So I'm just gonna stay out of it and let nature take its course with the rusting.

My sales rep told me that the wedges are backordered at Nike, and I have to go through the custom department to ship it faster.
If that's the case, I might just order tour issue s400 with the wedges, but what's the benefit of having the tour issue s400 shaft over the stock s400?

Pretty much the sticker, and that you have the piece of mind that they will be within a +/- 1 gram tolerance instead of a +/- 3 gram tolerance that you can't feel anyway.

Hydrogen Peroxide in a small fine mist bottle. Just keep spraying a fine mist over the heads and within a day they will start to form a nice patina.
No need to wrap the heads in a towel cause if you do the rust will form uneven and leave the towel/paper towels pattern on the heads. Dont ask me how I know.
