I just know that I, personally, would love to give small companies a shot for my business. If it's a small company that I have no access to testing, if it looks good there's a high chance I'll give it a shot. If you have no testing available, seeing the product is the only remote sense of an idea we can have as consumers for your products. Take that out and we have absolutely no incentive to order other than the price tag. Yes, there's the return policy. But for busy lives we may not have the time to go through the return process. It takes time and effort, and some people just simply don't want to go through the hassle.

Like I said, I'm a huge advocate for small companies and I'll likely be ordering your driver soon, I'm just providing some insight on the thought process behind my seemingly negative comment. Best of luck!

That might be enough for me to "pull the pin" ...those specs are right in my wheel house....playing length might be a tad short for my taste, but that's an easy fix.

I understand people live busy lives, but 60 days to return the club is a lot. I find it hard to believe that someone can't find 30 minutes in 60 days to ship a club back. I'm not talking about you personally but I'm sure even the busiest person could find time to ship a club back.

I just ordered new wedges or I'd try these. The 9* driver though.....that will probably be in the bag for at least 55 days to try it out.

Sully, we talked like 10-12 days ago. I PM'd you about swinging by to try the driver out while me and the wifey were in Burlington. Still hoping to get over to Gonzo's for a demo. Good luck with the new wedges!

Can't wait till other lofts come out for these...I would love to try them but I know it won't stick in the bag because I'm more of a 53/59 guy. And I don't want to add 3 degrees of bounce to get it to 59! Also, I'm loving the feel of the preowned driver I bought. I'm throwing a heavier shaft in it because the Chi Chi was a little too light for my swing (I'm not a smooth swinger by any means and found I was losing the 50-ish gram shaft on occasion) and I think it should be perfect!

Out of curiosity, I've read and understand the reasoning why the driver is higher quality than the big companies, can you expound a little bit about how the wedges were designed and what will make them stand out from the competition?

I am not reinventing the wedge. But I am using the deepest groove pattern that the USGA will allow based on their volumetric restraints. The wedge itself is forged with a precision milled CNC face. Our price is insanely low compared to other companies that manufacture their wedges in this manner.

So with the driver you use a 2 piece construction while the large manufacturers use a 4 piece, so I'm guessing the more expensive wedges use milling like edel, while most manufacturers use forging?

Oh fine, you win...I'll wait for the full release! I've actually got two different profiles that I'm trying out to see which fits the head better. A low/low profile in a Veylix Rome 688 and a more mid-high/mid in an Attas Elements DK prototype. Both are close to 70 grams which is where I tend to have better control and thus better success. I'll be sure to post a full review once I've tried out both combos!

Just ordered a 3 wood, pre-ordered a 9* driver and a 56* wedge. I figure with a 60 day trial and a good rep on WRX I have spent more money on items with less of a guarantee.

Obviously this pic makes it look like just about every other major OEM wedge out from address (for the most part). Now that's not a bad thing at all. What I mean is that your getting a wedge for basically nothing, that looks like major OEM wedges, but it's forged and also as a milled face. If there was another pic that included the bottom of the hosel/offset in the pic could add tons of more preorders JMHO.

Like I said before if I hadn't just ordered new wedges, and a 54* and 58* was an option (my guess down the road they may be) I'd jump all over these!! Sully if you need help building all these wedges let me know! I'll work for free golf at Gonzo's!!!!

Congrats!! It seems Bombtech is taking off like a rocket right now with all the new things being released, 9* driver, wedges, and putters on top of everything already out.....things are looking very promising!!!

With the amount of people that blindly buy things on the BST based of reviews from this site, I'm surprised that people aren't willing to drop $60 for a wedge and support a new company. Then they bring up all the different lame azz notions that it has to have sole grinds and color, a over priced 'wedge specific' shaft and the likes and still expect it to be $60 to them. How on earth was golf played up until about 10 years ago. if I was in the US, no prob, but as shipping is a joke to Canada (didn't inquire and just basing on how we are gouged on everything else I've had shipped). Too funny. All the best on this venture and hope to support you in the future as I would likely order something and have it shipped to a friends US address.
